Xi was already searing in rage and now she was dancing this dance further. Commanding him with further ambiguity. Xi did as he was bid he stood turned and shut his eyes. The rage within him building to levels he couldn't even fathom...The depths being plumbed to the point where he couldn't find a bottom. On the surface he remained impassive, robotic...Stony. He could hear a shuffling behind him...His body not responding to a damn impulse he gave it...The feeling of being locked within his own head and forced to do as he was bid was soul crushing....Destroying...Xi turned back around with her next sarcastic words...The amount he wanted to lash out at her was reaching a point where if he could have, he would have put her through the wall...He would have beaten her worse than that monk had...He would have crushed her completely...And it only bit him deeper when she ordered him to tell her how...Commanding him to tell her how the curse was placed there...Xi wanted to cream at her wanted to break free, to remain silent but no...His body did as bid...

"Both I and Wren were taken by mage hunters in sunberth...We helped each other escape...fighting a series of people...A man the size of myself armed with an axe and their leader...A flame reimancer. After that...He hypnotized me...And chained me to a steel cage...Before carving the word "Slave" Into my chest...Then he placed the curse upon me before setting the building alight...I had to dislocate my own arm to escape." Only after he finished speaking did she tell him to "sit" If he could have glared he would have, now she was going to tell him something? "Take what ever it is your going to tell me and you can shove it right up your own ass you petching bitch...I want nothing to do with you any more...AT ALL.

Replacing The Lost. (Ana)

Postby Ana Sol Starris on June 24th, 2013, 6:40 pm

Once he had, Ana rubbed the bridge of her nose inbetween her eyes; a little surprised at his own story, but she should have expected it as she remembered he had mentioned something similar but never the whole story. Now for hers. How was she going to go about telling this? It was such a delicate matter.

"Do you hate me Ximal, for using that word? Do you despise my use and abuse of a power over you.. Or would you forgive me, as easily as I had forgiven you for not being there when I needed you most.." She looked at him, trying her best to remain composed, thinking over her next chunk of speech. He had said he wouldn't have minded her use of the word, and seemed to obey without fault, surely it was the doing of the curse. Nothing more. Ana had to wonder if maybe he had lied, it was so hard to tell with his lack of expression and free speech. Though, one thing was for certain, she wouldn't use the word again- after this punishment. After her story.

Is he like Zandelia? So quick to abandon for a simple, yet trecherous mistake..

"Nevermind that." She muttered to the silence, cutting him off.

"I suppose fair is fair, you gave me your story, I will give you mine now." Ana looked to the far away wall, searching for memories long thought to be forgotten.

"Once I had a friend, back in Sunberth before I met Wren, or you, Zandelia, the Edge itself.. Would you have believed that I lived in Sunberth for maybe four years before ever meeting any of you? Even I have trouble believing it.." She began to fiddle with the purple jacket, eyes downcast to the floor "it was right after I had first arrived in Sunberth, that I met him.. He was my brother's former partner, I still don't understand what broke them apart, but they were both very much into crime.. and what I learned from my friend was exactly that, crime. Thieving, sneaking, everything that I know on how to survive Sunberth.. Comes from that stupid, deceitful man."

"He tried to take my brother's journal from me, when he learned of it.. and then he tried to sell me into slavery. We were the best of friends.. and he betrayed me for a book, a simple story on an adventerous thief. Do you want to know what happened to my former friend aftwards?"

Ana questioned Ximal, leaning on a hand with her elbow to a knee. Whether there would have been a yes, or a no, she cut his response off again.

"He ended up a slave."

There was a pause, a silence which she ruminated in. Thought, and pondered, shut her eyes for a moment and continued to think; exhasuted. There was a reason why she didn't steal from her friends, why she was a loyal child to them when they needed her but it seemed that the moment she made one little mistake.. "Most thieves don't have honor, Ximal, or morals, but I do.. You're still my friend, and in a way, a brother.. I only used the word because you said I could, that you wouldn't be mad at me, or blame me, but I never intended to use it until I got angry for what you told me about peeping into my personal business.."

Ana stood again, stretched a bit, before taking the cane in his hands gingerly, a smile gracing her features, eyes dull with a dissapointment "I assume this was for me, thankyou." Then she trudged to be standing next to his side, stopping to mutter "you're free" before moving for the infirmarys exit silently.

At this moment Xi did have a strong feeling of anger towards her this was true...He had a feeling of...Inability to contain it at least within his own head. Inside he was angry, and, even though he said he could understand her use of it it didn't mean he wouldn't get angry from it...Would he forgive her...Not for a while...Xi just sat there unblinking unflinching...He wanted to tell her he didn't want her story, he wanted to tell her he wanted nothing to do with what she had to say but no...A forced silence...A masked anger...Mentally he could do nothing. He had to listen...He had to sit there and listen to her...the motions of her body as she played with her jacket were...obvious...the simplistic motions showing that this was something hard for her to say, even as she spoke about this " friend" before the others and her time in sunberth prior...Her brothers friend...Xi just stared on blankly as all he could do but inside, he was half listing half still fuming with her. So her brother's friend tried to sell her into slavery.

Then got made a slave himself...Xi couldn't say anything but he could think it, he could think exactly what he wanted to say. Most thieves didn't have morals, and she did? A crock of shyke...And that's all he could think right now...Unable to move or do anything...Xi then remembered the cane in his hands as she removed it from them...She only used it because he said she could and he wouldn't get mad...No he said he'd understand he didn't say he wouldn't get mad. She assumed it was for her...And then..The two words he'd though she'd never say...he was free...The feeling of control flooded back into his body as he flexed his fingers...The expression on his face changing only s,lightly from a stony one to one of a controlled anger, the fire lighting up in his eyes...Xi exhaled slowly before taking another slow deep breath..."Let's start from the top shall we?" Xi stood from the bed clapped a hand over her shoulder and threw her back into the room with a sharp tug on her shoulder. "I only mentioned your petching journal because it was the only thing that wasn't in my room. Somebody had stolen it other wise i wouldn't have even brought the petching thing up. And regards to that letter...You mentioned and showed it to me in the spires if your memory holds for that long..."

Xi clenched his fist tightly at his side..."Secondly...I said i would understand you using the word...And i would understand why...I NEVER said i wouldn't get angry...I never said that...Thirdly...You think because you were almost sold into slavery that you understand what I'm going through and you think that the story of yours some how shows you have morals? That your some how better than what i think of you right now? You must be joking." Xi closed his eyes for a moment controlling his rage and now channelling his flux around his body...Targeting his muscles to allow him to hit something really hard. "Any of my trust you earned over the past two seasons...Any of my friendship and affection you've earned...You just destroyed because you got "angry" without hearing my full explanation of a situation...If you come near me in the next five days...Or if you use that word on me ever again...You get my point." His rage now finally reaching the boiling point he turned and in a single motion he punched the door to her room clean off of it's hinges and sent it soaring across the hall before smashing into pieces.

Xi stepped out into the hall way and marched through the infirmary, the staff there giving him dirty looks for what he had just done and all he did was stare back at them with a glare that made them back down instantly...He was not in a mood to be argued with or stopped...If anyone got in his way...He was going to either seriously harm them...Or kill them.

Replacing The Lost. (Ana)

Postby Ana Sol Starris on June 24th, 2013, 8:38 pm

Of course she shouldn't have released him.. Ximal was exactly just like Zandelia, quick to abandon out of emotion. Why did she try to believe otherwise?

When he had pulled her back, it was with enough force to send her reeling onto the ground, the cane itself fell with a clatter next to her. The fall itself had been hard enough to illicite a pained gasp, it had struck and vibrated up her bad arm. Agonizingly so. Ana couldn't believe this, after she had told him a smidge about her life, he fails to see the lesson, or the reason why she had told him; it felt just like it had before, the awful sting of betrayel from two amazing friends. What a thick headed oaf. She grunted and grimaced, but made not a sound more as she ground her teeth slowly together, forcing herself to look up at him. Composed.

His words fell on deaf ears, it wouldn't have mattered what he had said, or did, he was out right lieing to her. Ana had never read that letter from Shroud with the curse inside to the whole group that one night, she had only read the apology one and here was Ximal trying to make it seem like he was telling the truth. He was delusional, he spoke confidently, and heatedly, it made her question her memory but she remained firm with her previous notions. Ximal was a liar, and she was not to doubt in herself for something she knew she did not do. He could go petch off.

She almost thought he was going to attack her, if he had she would have revoked his freedom and told him to take a bloody knife to his throat. No use for those without resemblance of self control, neither he or Zandelia had it. Nor did Ana, but she had been willing to forgive Ximal if he had only seen the lesson... and she had learned her own lesson before with Zandelia. Self control was key, if you wanted to get anywheres in life, or even if you wanted to become distinctly ambitious. Instead Ximal punched a door to smithereens right from its hinges, Monks petch him.

Ana watched him stomp out, getting up slowly whilst picking the cane up and draping the red scarf which sat on the cot around her neck.

"So its come to this.. Eh, Ximal?" She muttered, after he had left the infirmary, "if you want to play this game, so be it, lets dance my old friend.. I will find a way to make your life misearable, worse than a small word ever could.." She began to follow after him outside the Infirmary, but more so with the intent to get back to the Hostel and reclaim her items, she could see him not heading in her intended direction but elsewhere "you will regret crossing me like this.."

The utterance was lost on the light breeze of the air, as was Ana.
