The Wilderness of Cyphrus is an endless sea of tall grass that rolls just like the oceans themselves. Geysers kiss the sky with their steamy breath, and mysterious craters create microworlds all their own. But above all danger lives here in the tall grass in the form of fierce wild creatures; elegant serpents that swim through the land like whales through the ocean and fierce packs of glassbeaks that hunt in packs which are only kept at bay by fires. Traverse it carefully, with a guide if possible, for those that venture alone endanger themselves in countless ways.

Jh'eon smiled at the Drykas. "Thank you for your help...I would have been Glassbeak lunch if not for you," he added, grinning. Then the grin was wiped off his face. He sighed and jumped into the water and swam. He felt the water free him again. And he pulled himself up onto the opposite shore. He and the Drykas rode to get the stuff she needed. Meanwhile, Jh'eon was thinking to himself. What were these people going to be like? At least he was going to get in Riverfall - more safely. But he was still contemplating what might and would happen. If anything happened, he trusted this Drykas now.
He walked up to the river while waiting for the Drykas and he looked at himself. He was a disgrace to the family. Ole'ah or Dey'eon were probably already dead. He was ashamed of himself. He played around with the water a bit more and then stood up when she was ready. He was ready. Riverfall...here I come... |
