The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

She started picking apart the pie, shoving pieces into her mouth without regard to any manners. She was past manners at the moment. Celie had been eating all day, but she had a big appetite, and getting someone to buy her delicious food was the best thing that happened all day - you know, besides getting her horns painted. That was always fun.
She quickly fastened the cloak around herself with her sticky, cherry-filling fingers, breaking off a piece of the crust and popping it into her mouth. She followed him, eating the pie as she walked. When they sat, she was finally able to use both of her hands for eating the pie, sparing no time before digging in.
So he was a follower of Caiyha, which was always fun. Celie wouldn't even be here if it weren't for Caiyha. And learning about Okomo? Hell, call her an expert. She was better than an expert. She was an Okomo, and she could tell him anything he wanted, if he appealed to her enough for her to spare any information.
"Celedia Beaumont. But you can call me Miss Okomo... She looked at him slyly through her eyelashes before continuing, a smile dancing on her lips, "or Celie. And I can tell you everything you'd want to know and more about Okomo."

Svan gave an uneasy look as the woman touched his cloak with her dirty hands. Hey watch it with those fingers! I have enough weird looks due to the bloodstains I already have, i don't need any more. Especially not cherry flavored ones... The snake wanted to tell her what he was thinking but right now he had to play nice. That and he doubted the woman would listen anyways. Kelvics didn't tend to be masters of polite etiquette and this woman certainly wasn't an exception.
Instead Svan listened patiently as the woman spoke. "Celedia", he said silently echoing her. A smile to match her own formed as she returned his jest. "Well its nice to meet you Cel-"
"or Celie. And I can tell you everything you'd want to know and more about Okomo."
Svan's eyes went wide and his hands clapped to the side of her face. In one sudden motion Svan pulled her forward and kissed her heavily on the lips before pushing her back again with his hands still on her cheeks. "You have NO IDEA how much that means to me." As he came under the sudden realization of what he had just done his eyes went even wider and his entire face blanched. "Uh, oops. I didn't mean to do that. I just- this means alot to me. Thank you." Svan realized he still had his hands on her face and like lightning he drew them away and hopped backwards. One of the problems of being both a century old sentient being and a beast ruled by instinct was that every so often the wires got crossed and Svan did something he regretted. In this case he apparently took the phrase "so happy I could kiss you" a little too literally.
"If I buy you more food later can we forget that I just did that?"
To hide his dhani nature from anyone, Svan has taken measures to hide his lisp. As such, he will not have any extra "ssss" on his words unless indicated otherwise.

The surprise kiss wasn't entirely unpleasant but it was entirely unexpected. She never knew anyone so excited about the fact that they could be around Okomo until now. At least, not excited enough to drop all inhibitions and smooch the bringer of good news. But Svan's face would make a beet jealous and it confused Celie to no end.
"Why blush? Kisses are nice." The fact was that she didn't find anything intimate awkward - she just saw them as things that happened. It was most definitely her animal mentality coming through. She could definitely tell that it wasn't how he felt, and she struggled to think of a way to make it less awkward for him. Maybe if she kissed him he'd feel better?
Celie leaned over and kissed him for a flash of a second, before leaning back and replying, "I'm not hungry anymore."

Svan could hardly believe this woman. She not only acted as if the kiss was no big deal, she had kissed him back! The snake had been around kelvics before but never had they been this oblivious to the rules of polite society. Not that it really meant anything to Svan. He was neither polite nor social. The fact that this woman approached such things so casually was a boon as far as was concerned. It meant that he didn't have to be worried about being judged as a rude or unclean. That was one thing he liked about kelvics. In many ways they were more lenient with things that normal people would scorn Svan for.
That being said, they were also more unpredictable. Each and every kelvic animal was different and they veried in how close they were to there human and animal sides. The two other most recent kelvics Svan had seen, Samantha and Artur, seemed to favor their human sides. This woman however, CLEARLY favored her animal one. While this meant that Celie could probably help Svan better get into the heads of the Okomo, it also meant that Svan knew nothing of what to expect from her since he was clueless about the beasts.
Luckily that was a situation that could be easily remedied.
Svan hesitantly wiped off the woman's kiss and gave a half hearted smile. "Hehe, yeah. Kisses are nice." Svan bit his lip for a moment before continueing, "Um so yeah...perhaps you can tell me a little bit about Okomo?" Svan was acting about as smooth as a bag of nails and he knew it. He was still caught off guard but perhaps if he went back onto normal conversation he could regain his composure. The snake wanted to know more about the Okomo but first he needed to decide what exactly to ask her. Thinking fast Svan looked for anything to give him an idea and said the first thing that came to his mind. His eyes fell to her hip. "You sure like your vegtables don't you?"
Smooth...
Smooth as a bag of nails...and broken glass.

It didn't appear to help him very much. In fact, it seemed exactly the opposite. All etiquette and modesty she might have had at the start of the day was gone now - what was the point of acting coy if the only clothing you've got on is the cloak of someone you just met?
"I only eat things that grow from the ground. Meat doesn't look very good to me, and I don't think it looks good for any of the other Okomo that i know, either." She inspected her fingernails for a second. They were rough and appeared like she had opted to tear of the ends rather than cut them, and the hands they were attached to were sticky from the cherry filling.

The woman was either as forgiving as a saint, or as dense as a hunk of lead. Not that it mattered, Svan was enjoying not getting in trouble for once in his life. Though hecouldn't shake the feeling that the universe was just readying itself for one real big oppertunity to get him.
The snake's brow furrowed at the woman's words, and a frown formed on his thin lips. "You don't eat meat?" Svan had met vegetarians before, but had never really been fond of them. Being a carnivore himself he found that their cuisine left much to be desired. He wasn't above nibbling on the occasional sage bush from time to time, but the taste rarely appealed to him, and it was even rarer from it to appeal to his stomach.
The snake leaned over and placed his elbows onto his knees. He had regained most of his composure and was beginning to understand that Celie was just...."special". The snake smiled and raised a curious eye brow, "So celie, aside from 'free' whats you favorite food?" Svan struck a thoughtful pose for a moment, "And I'm curious, what kind of stuff do you do for fun?" This woman was certainly unique. That much Svan could see quite clearly. However, what really tickled his curiosity was the idea of what an Okomo kelvic considers "fun". Would it be something normal like a human activity, or would it be something a bit more animal like. Perhaps her idea of fun was some mix of the two.
Svan laughed quietly to himself as he imagined a game of tag that involved petting someone behind the ear.
