Race: Jamoura
Birthday & Age Born in Winter of the year 240, 270 years old
Gender: Male
Physical Description: Ororadaruma is taller than most of his race, standing at eight and a half feet tall and weighing just over six hundred fifty pounds. His legs and arms are rather longer and more wiry than other members of his race, and while he normally blends whenever he can, his natural fur color is a very dark green.

Character Concept
Personality: Ororadaruma is different from the rest of his race in personality as well as in physical stature. Unlike the nature-oriented average Jamoura, Ororadaruma seeks to learn all he can of the other living races, making him a highly cosmopolitan (for a Jamoura) member of his race. He is also completely unshakable, never showing any visible sign of anger regardless of the circumstances.
Ethics: Despite his more human personality, Ororadaruma shares the Jamoura reverence for nature, and will never willingly harm a living nonsentient, nor will he attack a sentient who has not yet attempted to harm him or one of his current traveling companions.
Likes: Ororadaruma is pleasantly amiable to anyone he meets, and takes interest in anything created or done by another living race. He could be said to be slightly sociopathic, since he will tolerate any amount of despotism or evil so long as it does not directly interfere with his personal studies. In matter of fact, he will occasionally support such tyranny, as he sees it as a fascinating case study of the worst a civilization has to offer.
Dislikes: Among the few things Ororadaruma will never tolerate is anyone attempting to obscure or block his attempts at observation. He will never deal violently with such people, but he uses his talent at looming to maximum effect.

Character History
Pre-Creation: Ororadaruma (known to his family and few friends as Ruma) was always a strange member of his race, born to a mother who died bearing him and inclined to live on the outer edge of his family's area of forest. He did not often contact his father, and the elder females of his tribe bemoaned his unwillingness to listen to fables and stories, since he claimed a preference for visiting the nearby human settlement. This did not apparently cut him off from ancestral memories, though it has made it much more difficult for him to access them. He grew up into a simple and productive member of the family, then quietly and politely left the Spires on his hundred-fiftieth birthday to study humans and the other races of the world, attempting to delve into them and write down his observations, so that the long-lived Jamoura can fully understand what motivates the shorter-lived races.
Post Creation: Having met up with an old acquaintance, Ventus, Ruma traveled to a library in Syliras and rented a room for the day. However, instead of the expanded history of humanity he had hoped to find, Ruma found some books on Glyphing and a mention of Animation. He has begun studying them as much as he can, and plans to seek out more volumes when possible.

Lore of Communication - While Ruma is fluent only in Common as a language, his studies of humanoids over the last hundred-twenty years have given him an almost instinctive insight into the tones of speech and the physical stances and gestures that go with various moods and requests. So long as the person he is talking with is a human being he can understand their general objective or the point of their words perfectly and regardless of the language they use, though he cannot determine exactly what they are saying.
Lore of Diplomacy - As with his Lore of Communication, Ruma's long observation of humanity has given him an instinctive ability to defuse almost any situation. This does not give him any supernatural or extraordinary ability to calm emotions, though he is adept at this and can usually talk people out of fighting unless they deliberately wish to enter combat.
