Mihiya listened to Ivandra intently as she noted that she knew of Eyktol. The desert lands were supposed to be harsh, this was true, but Mihiya still longed to head out toward them, to learn what she longed to learn, despite the fact that the land may weaken her and leave her longing for a return to civilization. Still, she longed to go. It would never do to stay in Endrykas and wish that she was going and never go.

Mihiya giggled at Ivandra's concern. "Ankal word for leader of Drykas family. Not one person. Some take outsiders as wife." She shrugged. "I keep you safe." She would have to make sure she kept her adoptive brothers away from the pretty woman. They were not known for keeping their eyes or hands to themselves. She frowned, it would be best if Ivandra stay near her at all times. Endrykas was dangerous now, after the Zith attack.

"Mean it, yes. Ivandra rest in my tent, then we buy horse for Kelvic woman. Head for Riverfall at end of Summer, if Ivandra still want to." The girl nodded assertively. "Follow, please. I show place to rest."

Ivandra nodded as Mihiya explained Ankal, that it wasn't a single person but rather an entire family. Now that she knew she was leaving Endrykas, she wasn't quite as afraid anymore. The Drykas family could do whatever they wanted, but she would be gone after two days. Somehow, she'd never questioned the idea that Mihiya could be a slave trader undercover or otherwise dangerous in any way. There was a certain way in which she spoke that made Ivandra feel as if she were definitely telling the truth. "I see. Well, as long as I keep out of sight, it should be fine. We'll be gone in a day or two anyways, and this problem will be left behind us." She would make sure to stay close to Mihiya too, since the woman obviously knew of the people of the lands around Endrykas better than she.

At the next statement, she nodded. Now that the initial excitement over the fact that she would be traveling to Riverfall was over, she suddenly realized how beaten-down she was. The journey from Syliras to Endrykas had certainly taken its toll on her. She would be glad when she could rest without having to watch her back every few moments. Traveling would certainly be more fun and safe now that she had a companion. As for a horse, she couldn't say that she had the best experiences with them. Unlike many other people, she'd always felt unstable on a horse, worrying that it might accidently step on a rock and collapse as it whooshed past the countryside. But then again, she did worry about many things. Perhaps her uncertainty of being on a horse simply resulted from having not enough experience on them.

She kept her concerns in her mind, however, and just gave Mihiya a smile. "Of course. Lead the way. We can find a suitable horse afterwards, and then we'll be off."

Mihiya nodded and turned, gesturing that the woman should follow her. Her vocabulary was limited in Common and it was easier to use common signals that most people woudl understand than to try and use her broken sentences in Common. She wondered briefly if the woman had any riding skills and decided she would find out in the next few days, when she went to find a mount for the woman. No doubt some of her relatives could help her out, being a membery of the Ameythyst clan did have its perks that way.

They arrived at Mihiya's tent after awhile. She showed Ivandra inside and then gestured to a bedroll.

"You sleep, Ivandra. I go hunting, bring back food for Kelvic. Eat rabbit, yes?" She nodded, then found a few extra blankets for the woman to use. "Rest well, friend."

At Mihiya's gesture, Ivandra immediately trotted forward until she walked side by side with her. After a short walk, she entered her tent. It was a standard one, with a bedroll in the corner. "Yes, a rabbit would be excellent. Thank you, my friend." She set her equipment neatly in the corner. She didn't have much to carry, which was definitely a relief on long journeys. The less weight one had to carry, the less one would be bogged down. Only the necessities were really needed; after all, to go traveling did mean to go out into the wilderness and leave the luxuries behind.

She glanced at Mihiya again before snuggling into the bedroll, wondering where she would get the mount from. Most horses cost a considerable amount of mizas, after all. But then a yawn overtook her and she closed her eyes, eager to get a good rest. She had traveled long and far to get to Endrykas, and she would need her rest before leaving once more. It was only a few moments before Ivandra slipped off into a dreamless sleep.

Mihiya has not been active since early in July; Ivandra has not been active since late June. With such in mind, characters have been classified as inactive and will thereby be put on hold for any grading. If either becomes active once again and messages me or another Cyphrus mod, this thread will be graded. Have a nice day!
