Bahaha, I think I should add how to pronounce Meville's name into his CS! xD It's "meh-vILL" with an emphasis on "vill", kinda like Cruella Deville from 101 Dalmatians? Haha just thought you should know XD _______________________________________________
Zed was correct in his claims that his real smile was, in fact, very charming. Meville found his own smile to lessen slightly as he was temporarily distracted by how... nice the other man looked. It was a much better fit than the giant grin Meville had been scolded for laughing at. In fact, he almost wished the Inarta's face would keep it on more often. The combination of Zed's already attractive facial structure paired with his childish dimples gave the man a sort of sweet innocence. It was entirely misleading, of course, but that didn't mean it wasn't a pleasure to look at.
Sadly, it didn't last long as the smile quickly changed to one of sudden stoicism as the red haired man rose to his feet. The chair he had been rocking back and fourth in had decided it no longer wished to defy the laws that governed the mortal plain and promptly fell to the ground. Meville was amazed at the Inarta's ability to completely disregard the fact he had almost taken a relatively humiliating spill. Zed continued right along without missing more than a few beats in the conversation, and Meville just gave him a surprised, slightly awed stare as the Inarta proceeded to to discuss Meville's name. The way Zed pronounced it, it certainly did sound like "evil". Though both of them smiled at the jest, neither man seemed to let their grins reach their eyes.
That aside, Meville grinned at Zed's little joke. "Oh, something like that, yes." In truth, Meville's mischief often involved the pain of one for the pleasure of many. Though it wasn't entirely unheard of for Meville to just cause pure chaos, he did tend to keep things contained and, for the most part, helpful in some way. The details of his trouble-making didn't really seem all that relevant at the moment as Zed continued right along. The Inarta was very much like Meville in that respect. He moved through what he felt was necessary to get to what he wanted. The more the young human interacted with his new Inarta acquaintance, the more similarities he could draw between the two of them. After all, Zed, despite his pomp and self-importance, seemed to have the same sort of childish enjoyment in others, though it was focused in other areas.
Zed's laughter at Meville's answer regarding sex made his shake his head and smile. It was a good, full-bodied sound, even if it sprang from a dirty mind and, perhaps, strange mental images. He wasn't entirely sure what exactly Zed found so funny, but from the way his words had faded and eyes had lit up, it was something inane. Grinning at Zed's customary egotistical repsonse, Meville chuckled along. "I'm quickly realizing you can't be substituted." He found his eyes appraising the leaning figure once more more now that he was a bit more relaxed.
While Zed still carried himself with an important air about his shoulders, his more relaxed frame still exhibited the firm, muscular mass of his body. The Inarta's arms were well defined, almost sculpted against the stark red of his shirt and pants. His darker skin complimented the color quite nicely, like the dance between wood and flame, and Meville couldn't help but feel the Inarta was all the more attractive because he wasn't just a pretty face and a spoiled attitude. Just as Zed had commented on Meville's apparent innocence, Meville had noticed Zed's. It was much different from Meville's, of course, but not entirely absent as the young Inarta might have had others believe.
There were brief moments during their conversation when the Inarta had had the same look Meville had had when he spoke to all the strangers through the years. The sort of sadness that sprang from feelings of perceived isolation and loneliness. Meville had only noticed after Zed had admitted his understanding of his curiosity. It was then Meville wondered just how much Zed understood. While he couldn't be certain, he felt there was a bit more the fiery young man standing before him than Zed was letting on. It was entirely within Zed's right to not pour out his deepest fears and reveal his inner-most self to a total stranger. Meville certainly didn't expect to be able to pull back the layers and see the Zed he had an inkling of, but it did serve as an interesting thought as his blue eyes danced about the young Inarta's body.
Zed went on to say something about his "earthliness". Meville raised an eyebrow as his grin closed into a slight smirk. That had definitely been a flirt. Tucking it away for the time being, Meville's face broke out into yet another toothy smile. "You've got me there. I suppose it was a poor choice of words. Maybe I should have said it piques the interest of handsome young Inarta men?" The last bit was said with a tinge of sarcasm, as Meville's head tilted to the side. His grin was now much more devilish than bright as he leaned back in his chair (though he kept all four feet of the furniture firmly planted on the ground). "Whether you be the earth below or the sky above, I'm confident would would be pleasing either way."
Meville winked as he chuckled, tapping his chin before continuing. "I think I do have another question, if that's all right." Meville laced his fingers together, setting his elbows on the arm rests to create a little table out of his arms and hands. "How would you go about wooing one of those men you find so alluring?" His face shifted slightly in thought as he shook his head right after asking the question. "No. Rather: what would you do?" These last words were followed by curious little twist at the corners of Meville's mouth.
