Cecily's Pantry is an epicure's paradise, a small shop for those who love great food and ingredients. Tucked away in the crevices of Kenash, it's the city's best kept secret. "It's not hard to find, you just have to know where to look." Cecily tells all her customers that come grumbling into her shop. It's a little place, white cobble making up the entirety of the building except for marble arches that frame the small door and front window. Two signs decorate the outside, a hanging one announcing that you're reached Cecily's and a folded board, notifying of the day's specials. The front has a small window showcasing cakes, pies, scones, and anything else that is in season. A cute table stands in front of the shop with chairs for customers that like to sit outside and enjoy the weather. A single hanging light is the only source of illumination for when it grows into the nighttime. Inside, there are rows upon rows of product. Every section: jams, jellies, and marmalade, are neatly arranged into shelves. Next to the checkout counter, glass panes contain freshly baked cakes, scones, muffins, cookies, and anything else that is on the menu. In some parts of the store, special presentations are set up, according to season. Currently, green, pink, and purple decorations are set-up throughout the shop to reiterate the season of Spring in Kenash. On top of every table are festive candles and tablecloths. At Cecily's it is never cold, and can sometimes be used as a city-goer's respite from the brisk weather. A hearth burns consistently all through the day, and into the night, warming all who enter. In the back there is a very small kitchen, used for baking and canning. A hot oven is always blazing with some sort of goodies for the shop. Pots and pans hang from the ceiling, an island in the middle of the space. A washing station is set up to clean dishes and utensils. A slave employee, Linda is mostly found back here, doing her daily upkeep of the kitchen and some baking. Cecily would most likely be decorating cakes, or doing clerk duties in the main room. Even farther in the back of the shop, just when you thought it couldn't stretch back anymore, lies Cecily's office. It's quite obvious that no one is allowed in except Cecily by the black sign that announces "NO ONE PERMITTED" in bold writing. It is always kept locked, only the owner having access. Inside the office is a desk, chair, armchair for business visitors, and a couple bookcases containing secret family recipes and various educational books. Flowers hang from the ceiling, vines creeping all the way down to the dark wood floors. In a sense, it is quite simple, and very organized. All finance information in located here, as well as some of the Pantry's profit, locked away securely, of course. Additional Info: Linda was born and raised in Ravok as a slave, sold to the highest bidder when she was only five years old. When her old master got tired of her, he sent her to the auction and she was shipped off to Kenash where Cecily got a hold of her. Cecily took her in, clothing, feeding and housing her so to present a proper employee for her business. She's been working for her ever since the shop opened, but still hasn't gained enough trust in Cecily's eyes to clerk for her anytime soon.
