Completed [Theater Square]The First Date(Tessabelle)

[Sei Tendo]

TP: 12th of Fall, 513AV

Sei waited by the entrance of the square, and battled his thoughts. He had invited Tessabelle to join him, but was doubting his abilities. What if he wasn't enough for her? What if she wasn't interested in him? He started to pace around, thinking deeply about the summer. As he paced he remembered the fun-loving woman who had managed to entertain him. She was beautiful, and she was always followed by adventure. She was open, and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. She was bold, always saying what she wanted and needed to say. But the beauty he was attracted to wasn't her looks, he was attracted to her inner beauty. She was just.. Amazing. He thought about her all the time, and when it came down to it, he loved her.

He wanted to be there for her, but he hadn't even thought about how to get closer to her. He had made all the wrong choices so far, but had managed to get her permission to travel with her. Now that he had invited her on a date, he was more nervous than one could be in a life time. He was lost in thought. He couldn't help but think he wasn't right for her. He was still in the worst position ever. Doubt. He didn't even bring flowers, he only brought a small gift. He paced swiftly back and forth, overwheled by his own thoughts.

He combed his fingers through his hair, and frowned. He then leaned agaist the entrace wall and waited.

Tessabelle's looks have changed, for it was not summer but a lovely fall night. This fall she would be planning a lot. Her job; she just received one at the broken casket. She was planning on living the place up with her music. It won't be broken or quiet once she was done with it. But most of her planning would go towards her trip to riverfall. She has no experience with wilderness survival and although Sei was a tiger, she didn't expect him to have much experience either. There for she- they would have to travel with a caravan. The people would help guide them, all they would have to do is bring food. Tessabelle can't boil water without burning it, so she hoped Sri would be fine with raw vegetables and fruit. As she strolled through the crowd she could barely see the theater square, a place Sei suggested they should meet. Tessabelle was a little nervous though, the few days that has gone by she's been hesitate on how she should approach him. Tessabelle has made it clear that she wanted to start off slow. But she thought maybe Chinese giving him the wrong signals. It was clear that they we're both,into one another but Tessabelle's too friendly personality could be mistaken for flirting. Tessabelle felt like the proposal was her fault. Everything was. He stood there by the theater. Sei looked just as nervous as she was and she found it cute. Tessabelle put on a smile and walked towards him slow so she wouldn't look too eager, but the truth is she was. Tessabelle loved their small dat- get togethers."Hello Stanger."

Sei turned with a smile, his features relaxed, and he hoped she hadn't seen him just now. His face was bright red, and he was embarrassed of the thought that she had seen him. "Stunning as ever I see." He said, he gave her a hug and turned toward the theater. He was trying to find something to say, but he couldn't think straight. He turned back to her, and looked her over. Tessabelle was dressed nicely, and he wondered if she thought of this as a date. He took her hand and pulled her lightly through the entrance.

"I-I uh.. Thought y-you might like it here. You know, because your a performer. They have all kinds of music here, and I thought maybe if you wanted to dance we could have them play." He said nervously. Stop babbling like an idiot, and just shut up! His cheeks burned, and he tried not to look at Tessabelle. He was still holding her hand, and his heart was like a drum. He wanted to do so many activities, but how could he get to them if he couldn't even talk to her? He looked down, and began to speak. "I'm sorry.. I just get excited around you is all. I'm probably making a full out of myself aren't I?" He asked.

She quickly looked around the place. It was fascinating." So kind of you to think of me." She giggled and hugged him. Was she going to far? Maybe. The girl acted fast and let go." No, you're not..." She mumbled." I think it is I who is making a fool out of myself." Tessabelle bit her bottom lip and looked down. She was making a fool of herself by looking like a very arrogant young woman who seemed to do nothing but prance around. Compared to other women she felt like mockery.

Sei laughed, and spoke happily. "Then we'll be fools together." He joked. "There's nothing fooling about you." He said with a smile. He guided her around, and felt himself lighten. He looked at Tessabelle, and frowned. "It's no fun when your not smiling." He said sadly. He took her hand and waited for her to look up. "Your the most magnificent woman I've ever met." He said. "And it hurts to see you unhappy." He said. He smiled brightly, and felt his cheeks burn. That probably wasn't the best thing to say idiot! He thought.

"I hate to see myself upset too..." She awkwardly laughed and folded her arms. Tessabelle beamed back at the kelvic. There was a very important question on her mind that she had since the night he proposed. Yet it would be hard for her to get ut out because she didn't know how he would feel about it. Actually she didn't know what he felt on the night of that proposal. He was so hard to read, although he acted like everything was alright she wondered if anything really was."Sei what are we doing?" She asked with confusion.


Where does this relationship take place? Sei was her romantic interest and she just couldn't see them going back to being friends. That would be too awkward for the eth and skeptical about where they stand. This Theater Square wasn't a common meet up for friends. Friends go to taverns or something like that. They would also go with others. But this was just the two of them. No one else."Are we friends?"

Sei liked seeing Tessabelle smile, and it made him even happier when he could make her smile. He was happy once again when she beamed back at him. Her first question puzzled him, but the answer came to him easily, and he replied cheerfully. "That's simple. Were here to have fun." He said proudly. He looked around, and was anxious to start exploring. Her next question caught him off guard however, and at first he didn't know what to say. "Well.. I would hope so. I don't like the idea of being just friends to be honest, but I'm not going to just steal you away an lock you in a cage." He joked. "I.. Like you more than a friend, and I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the outside." He said.

He did not understand her first questions which was quite alright with her. His response to the last question made her feel warm in side. At least they were kind of on the same page. He wants to be more than friends too. She gazed back at the theater. This place was unique and she hasn't even stopped to look at it. Not it exactly but the performers. There we're a lot of them there today but one really caught her eye. A middle aged woman who was dancing something out. Tessabelle slowly headed in her direction and began to watch. She understood what this dance was about. The woman kept grabbing her chest and squeezing it in the palm of her hand, than she acted as if she we're falling. The most amazing part about her performance is that there was no music. She whipped her head back and motioned for Sei to come where she was standing."You have to watch." She softly called out to him.

[Sei Tendo]

Sei smiled as he watched Tessabelle observe the dancer. She motioned him over, and told him to watch. There was no music, yet the dancer was - in his opinion - graceful in her steps. She glided effortlessly around the area, and her smooth motions reminded him of that first night they had met. He watched Tessabelle, and smiled as she watched intently. He looked back at the dancer, and then to Tessabelle. He watched her, and couldn't help but glance at Tessabelle every now and then. "Do you know this?" He asked. He looked over at her with expectant eyes.

She nodded." It's expressive dancing. I don't believe it's the correct term but It's usually done by the people of..." She lowered her voice."Poverty, people who have,nothing but dancing." Tessabelle leaned against Sei and smiled."They tell beautiful stories... the best stories come from the ones that suffered the most." Tessabelle sighed. This woman lost something, someone. Tessabelle reached into her bag and took out 5 Gm and handed it to the woman, she whispered words of encouragement and turned towards Sei." I believe people of the street have more wisdom than the ones who live," She put a hand on her chin thinking,"What's the word... Wealthy? I believe that's it. Anyway, the people of the streets are not ignorant to their surroundings. They learn from, it."
