Physical Description:
Small, 5’ 1” in human form. Typical squirrel size in animal form. Eyes are black, appearing as though she has no irises. Hair is brindled reddish-brown (predominant), gray, and black. Skin is pale. She has a jagged scar across her right cheek.
Character Concept:
Tichi is chattery, to the point that people around her might wish heartily for something to use as a gag! She does know how to be silent, though, when she absolutely must, and she goes quiet when she’s afraid. Her attention span leaves something to be desired, and it’s a miracle she managed to learn to read (barely). If her father hadn’t insisted and backed up the insistence with physical punishment, she’d still be illiterate.
Tichi cannot stand to be cooped up for long, and makes regular trips to the areas of the city that are open to the air. She’s been outside the city a time or two, but is too scared to really leave it alone. She finds it difficult to trust people, yet she is compelled to be around them as much as possible.
Character History:
Tichi’s father was human and her mother a wolf Kelvic. Her mother vanished a few months after giving birth, and Tichi was raised by her father. He was quite disappointed when she first shapeshifted, as squirrels were useless in his eyes. He did, however, eventually come up with a use for her. He trained her to be a thief. She was quick and agile, and good at not getting caught, but not particularly good at staying on task or actually getting the goods. Failures or missed deadlines were met with beatings, administered carefully so as not to leave too many visible scars. She does have a scar on her right cheek from when her father lost his temper completely and came at her with a knife.
Her father often told her stories of what would happen to her if she were caught stealing, and as a result she is utterly terrified of Knights.
Tichi was never allowed to leave the apartment except to steal, and as a result has no real friends (yet). As her story begins, Tichi’s father has died and she is finally free of him. She dreams of going to a land called The Spires, which she has read about, but has no means to get there.
