10th night of Fall

Sayren took a breath. Her eyes blinked for only a moment, and she went from being in her bed, to the training room, so she was still inside the Iron Fist School. Why was she here? Sure she wanted to train more, but she remembered being tired. Which was why she had gone off to bed, however, she felt she was full of energy. What was most astonishing was her attire. She wasn't in her usual training garb. It was instead her crimson corset, drizzled with the black curved designs across her rib cage. Which then slendered down to her tight miniskirt. She was even wearing her white stockings too. Why? Was there some arrangement her and Revy had and she just blacked out?

Whatever the case, it was odd. There wasn't any noise. Just eerie silence. No hustling from the ever running Savio. Not even a sign of Revy with her bulky steel armor. Where was everyone? The light of day was still rather bright, so it could've been possible that they were all out and about.

She took a deep sigh as she began to look around. Maybe Garel would be around? As she peered out towards the courtyard, she noticed it was relatively empty as well. That couldn't possibly be, Garel would never wonder too far from the school unless Sayren was nearby him. This would normally have her on edge, but she was still calm. Shrugging off the thought of not seeing Garel, she returned to the training room.

Something was different now. There was a noise finally. Foot steps down the hallways, the soft breaths echoing through the emptiness. "Who's there?" Sayren called out. "Show yourself quickly Savio. Or I'll assume you're an intruder!" It had to have been Savio, the footsteps were too light to be Revy's. But yet...they even seemed lighter than Savio's. Whoever it was. They had to have been a smaller frame.

The WindDancer and the Daughter of Laviku (Edreina)

Unless she was under the influence of heavy drink or the stress of strong emotion, Edreina's dreams tended to be rather normal, a pretty night on the ocean or walking an endless hallway. This night, it was... well a bit more than strange.

The Svefra found herself in a long hallway, lined with dozens of doors, some partially cracked so she could glimpse its contents. Once she passed her siblings, younger than they were now, but a large blue stone rolled between them silently, another time it was a silvery otter, swimming gaily through the air. The oddest sight was, however, the room she passed with a door wide open.

A large stone tub occupied the room, and it was filled with a strange red liquid... blood perhaps? It would have been horrifying were it not for what was splashing around in the water: Razkar. That's right. The badarse Myrian monster himself was giggling like a child, splashing in the blood. As she watched, still walking slowly, he pulled a small yellow duckling carcass from the blood and began to flap its little wings, making it hop about in the blood. Were that alone not disturbing enough, the little sounds Razkar was making in the situation set Edreina's skin itching, such a childish behavior did not belong to so grotesque a scene. There was probably some deep dolphinshyke metaphor behind the scene but to the Svefra it was just plain creepy.

And then, for she had not stopped walking, Edreina heard a voice echoing down the hallway. A turn, maybe a junction, was quickly approaching, more quickly than she was walking. When finally she rounded the corner, she found herself in a large room of some sort, lined with human-shaped dummies... Was this where people learned to fight? It certainly smelled like it. But, even more odd than the strange room - what an odd dream indeed! - was the woman standing at the center of it. Her garb was, well petch, it was just odd. Looking down at herself, the Svefra suddenly felt underdressed for the occasion, clad only in her traditional linen shorts and chest wrapping as she was; bright red hair and freckled skin were the only things of any note about the Svefra.
"Name's not Savio," she said with a grin, cocking her head to the side as she eyed the woman. "Tis Edreina... Edreina Whitewave." As always, she could not hide the pride that came with her podname. Still, she beamed at the woman, motioning silently, eyes asking with a single copper brow cocked curiously, "And you?"

Sayren blinked as she gazed upon the woman that stepped forth. My she was a beauty. Almost made Sayren doubt her own appearance by staring at the woman. The wavy crimson hair danced down around the woman, down her shoulders and curling at the tips. Her face dabbed with freckles here and there. Piercing deep blue eyes. And as for the woman's attire, she was only dressed in a chest wrapping and some simple shorts. Maybe she wanted to train here? She certainly seemed ready for it unlike Sayren, who was still lost in her ogling of this woman. Aside from the fact that she wasn't wearing ANYthing that would prepare her for training.

After the woman clarified she wasn't Savio, as if much clarification was needed. As thin framed as Savio was, there was no chance he would be mistaken for a woman. Not only that, but the woman's shapely figure, the curve of her hips that would dip at her sides and near her shins. Pressing more emphasis onto the woman's hips. Amongst other things...Sayren was tranced by the woman's confident grin as she introduced herself as Edreina Whitewave. A name of the water? Could she be a Svefra? Sayren never had the chance of meeting one. Had only heard the stories of how these people would travel through the oceans like the Drykas would the Cyrphrus grasslands. The woman was radiating with pride of her name. Probably similar pride to Sayren's over her Strider.

Her ogling was brought sure when she realized that the woman had been awaiting an answer from Sayren. She gave her head a minor shake to regain composure as she poised herself with confidence. Standing straight and raising her chest up just slightly, "My name is Sayren WindDancer. A member of the Diamond Clan. How did you come into this training room...Edreina?" It wasn't that she was trying to threaten the woman, more of her trying to remember how to pronounce it. Since she was after all, in a daze just staring at the woman...by the seven...please don't mind that her jaw partially gave way momentarily.

For a tick, Edreina wondered if this provocatively dressed woman was a mute, or a little slow in the head like her steed Jorven. Maybe she was just surprised to have company in this room, was it hers? In any case, Edreina felt as if she belonged there, as if she was supposed to be there, and that was that.

When finally she spoke to introduce herself, the Svefra absentmindedly flicked a strand of hair off of her shoulder, marginally troubled by the realization that this woman was a Drykas. She still felt uneasy among most of the horsemen, save for her friend Viper; Moretta made her feel downright queasy. But this Drykas, perhaps she was different? She certainly looked unlike the Drykas that had attempted to abduct the Svefra a season past. After a tick, she relaxed, smile reappearing as she corrected the woman's pronunciation of her name, emphasizing the lilting R sound that seemed to give her name life and cancel out the harsher D sound.
"But, you can call me Reina," a quick wink, one blue eye obscured for a fraction of a tick as the Svefra hinted at some shared joke, some secret. "And you have a pretty name... It has all of my favorite sounds..." It was true, to Edreina, the name Sayren flowed so simply and beautifully, like a wave upon the open ocean; her own name seemed to be the harsh crashing of a wave upon a stony cliff to her own ears.

"And I came through that hallwa-" she had turned to motion over her shoulder as she spoke, only to be greeted by a seamless wall. Lips pursed and eyebrows furrowed for an instant, speaking of her confusion. There was a fighting dummy in the corner where she remembered the hall once being, mocking her with its featureless face. It took the entirety of a tick, but this change in the world was rapidly accepted and ignored as one easily does whilst in the realm of Nysel. "You said this is a training room?" She unconsciously strode closer to the woman, hips swaying instinctively as if she were still upon a ship's rolling deck. All the while, her eyes roamed the room, examining it thoughtfully. "What kind of training do people do here?" At this point, her eyes fell upon Sayren once again, thickly lashed eyes glittering with a curious light. That constant little smirk tugged at her full lips, giving her a mischievous look. "Would you like to train together? I'm always wanting to improve." Something about the energy wrapping and dancing around the question made it seem ever so slightly out of place in the context, more fitting of another room entirely.

After Sayren spoke Edreina's name, the woman only made minor corrections towards how it was pronounced. However, the drykas was allowed to call her Reina. Added with a quick wink? What for? Sayren's cheeks tinted red. Could it be that the woman was wooing her? Then the woman also said that Sayren's name was beautiful, that it shared all of her favorite sounds. It made Sayren blush all the more red. Her face similar to the woman's hair, as well as her corset. How was all of the woman's actions causing her to react so coy?

Reina tried to explain where she had came from, only to be stopped mid-sentence at the presence of a wall. She paused herself for about a tick or so. Maybe trying to understand how exactly she came here herself. Could it have been similar to how Sayren was asleep and thought she was in her room?

It seemed the woman just came to acceptance with it as well when she asked Sayren about the training room. Leisurely approaching Sayren with her hips elegantly whisking from side to side. Almost flaunting her lower half that much more. Her eyes were glancing across the room, searching for something, or just merely trying to get a better hold on her surroundings. Which was when she asked Sayren another question. The woman seemed curious about the training that was done in the room. She finally stopped in front of Sayren, giving the young drykas a rather wicked grin. Asking if they could train with one another. She apparently had been wanting to improve something.

Sayren wasn't sure what kind of training the woman had in mind. Sure they were in a combat training room, which would entail of combat type training. However, the tone in the woman's voice seemed to carry a salacious hint to it. Whichever would be the case, Sayren would approach the woman, leaning over into her ear and whispering, "Depending on your intentions...if you wish to...train." Attempting to mimic the woman's tone, "Then follow behind me to my room...if I misread your intentions, then remain here, and I will be back with a different change of clothes."

And with that, she will part from the woman. Almost strolling to her room with a little more speed to her pace. Not sure if she was excited to see if she was correct about the woman's intentions, or if she wanted to change quickly so that they may spar. Either way, if the woman had followed. Then she would get to see Sayren pull the white thigh high stockings from under her skirt and tug them down her long slender legs. Letting the fabric bunch up at her ankles before yanking the pair off her toes.

She then reached for the button on her skirt and untied some of the strings before urging the garment down her legs. Making her bend over for a moment. If Reina had followed, she would catch a full few of Sayren's rear wearing only a pair of white stringed underwear. Should the woman not react, she would continue by dragging her fingers up her thighs, along her hips to her back for the corset. Undoing more of the complicated strings. Once free of its bind, she would remove the corset, revealing a completely bare backside to Reina. Along with more of her windmarks that spiked at the base of neck, swirling down her shoulders and to her elbows. Along with others that would veer off and curve around her cleavage, if Reina hadn't already noticed those from her corset.

She would pivot on the balls of her feet, and if Reina had followed, Sayren would ask, "About how much of that did you watch?..." With cheeks flared red. Her legs crossing to cover what little the white string didn't cover on her. An arm raised in an awkward shy attempt to cover her now bare breasts while the other rested at her side.

"By seeing you here...I suppose you were hinting at the playful kind of training...weren't you?"

However, if Edreina had never showed up and Sayren had completely misjudged her tone, then none of that would've happened aside from her stripping of course. Leaving Edreina waiting for a few chimes in the training room.

As disappointing as it may have been, Edreina did not follow Sayren to her room, choosing instead to continue exploring the odd room. Her bare feet traipsed lightly across the mats used for wrestling, the sawdust and sand square used for other sorts of brawling. Razkar would find this place too tame... Too... safe, she imagined, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips as she admired a straw-stuffed dummy.

Laughing aloud, she turned perpendicular to the pseudo-enemy and struck out once with her stronger left arm. The impact did not jar her as it would have in real life, nor did it leave her hand oddly sore. But, like the disappearing door, this was quickly accepted as reality.

When finally the beautiful stranger returned, she would find Edreina valiantly attempting a handstand on one of the mats despite the fact she knew not. Her lean body would be flexing taut as she attempted to maintain her balance, shoulders twitching. Her long, muscular legs would be pressed together over her head as she swayed oddly, tanned midsection attempting to keep her upright. After a tick, she would fall again, laughing to herself. Upon noticing the return of Sayren, Edreina would do her best to remove the wild strands of red hair obscuring her visage before grinning at her and making some lame comment about what a cool place it was.

OOCSorry 'bout the short shyke. xD Things will be better (longer) in the future.

How odd, Sayren thought. She could have sworn Edreina had made some sort of hint towards some playful training. Perhaps she had just gestured for them to train in the means of combat instead of in the bedroom. It could have been possible that was all just a misunderstanding on Sayren's part. After all, her mind has been more lascivious and flirtful recently. Not that she intended to be, but with Revy seeming to be out on errands so much, Sayren scarcely had a chance to even spend time with her, let alone have a few moments to sate their hunger for one another.

Alas, Sayren sighed as she slipped her tan colored tunic over her head. Now clad in more suitable clothes, such as black tights and a less delicate pair of stockings. Mainly so she wouldn't have to be barefoot when she returned to the training room. Upon her return, she gazed upon Edreina in the strangest of positions. She seemed to have been standing upright on her arms? Or at least trying to before tipping herself over from lack of balance, or even focus, or maybe she never intended to hold the poise for long to begin with. How cute.

When Edreina acknowledged Sayren's approach, she attempted to regain her posture by pulling some of her bold crimson colored hair out of her face, giving Sayren a grin while telling her what an interesting place it was.

Sayren couldn't help but to return a nervous smile, "It is. I've only lived here for a season, but I feel that this place is my home." She began to chew on her lip as she fiddled with her hands, eyes stammering between looking down and randomly glancing up at Edreina. "I'm...sorry. I believe I mistook your words. I thought you were...you know...hinting...at something..." Feeling like a fool now, she decided to shake the thought off and try to stand on a firmer ground. "Nevermind, you wished to train?" What a pathetic recovery, her cheeks still carried a tint of rose.

"Oh, I was hinting at something," the Svefra acknowledged with a wink, rising to her feet. "But, I thought that warming up first would do us both some good." When had she become so bold? Oh, that's right: birth. It was only recent encounters with Razkar that made her shy and demure. Most of the time, when she wanted something, she would take it.

This time, she was caught somewhere in between with the urge to tease the pretty Sayren.

Grinning, Edreina sauntered her way over to one of the mats and stood at the far side, rolling her shoulders. If Sayren had followed, Edreina's grin would become playful once again. "I know only hand to hand combat... What about you? If you know the same I'm sure we can... spar..." Again that little innuendo crept into her voice, but this time was accompanied by a wink so quick that the moment her blue eye was visible again, her intent was entirely clarified.

Sayren's eyes blinked in her confusion as she stared at the woman. She had meant for something else to happen? However, the woman explained her intentions. Saying a quick warm up would help them. Getting the blood flowing and what not, Sayren supposed. The alluring Svefra took a stand on the matt across from Sayren, rolling her shoulders and prepping herself for a confrontation. That's when she claimed she only knew hand to hand combat and had hoped Sayren knew some too. Surely the two of them could spar.

Sayren gulped. Mainly because she hadn't expected the woman to be so straight forward with her last hint. Winking along with her seemingly ever growing wicked intentions.

Feeling fueled by these now rapidly contagious emotions. She chewed on her lip as she slipped into a stance in front of Edreina. Dragging her left foot forward. Pointing her toes towards Edreina as her right foot pivoted on her heel and faced towards Sayren's right. From there, she brought her right fist to her side and her left arm up in a blocking position. Keeping it angled and ready as her determined smile crept on her. "I do in fact...I may not have much experience, but I am skilled...how about you?"

Her pride now getting to her, she figured she'd raise the stakes on this, "Maybe we can make it more interesting...what does the winner earn?"
