"Men can be utterly and totally blind to things that are right in front of their faces." Taylani says evenly, wrapping her arms around her middle as if warding off a chill. "They can egotistical to the point that they think that they can make a woman be attracted to them." The red headed dancer looks back toward Waisana, one brow raised carefully over her blue eye.

"Yet women can be just as blinded by what they think they want and desire," a shrug is given, and a half moon smile "so blinded that they can not see that sometimes what they desire is right there."

Smiling she turns back toward the direction of the Amethyst Clan and the pavilions that make it up. "I just wanted to come by and make sure you were well, and to tell you thank you."Though she spoke words of gratitude her voice was almost dismayed but with her back turned toward Waisana now she did not have the reason to school her expression. "Good evening." With that she begins to walk away, no longer gliding as she walked instead just walking a slow smooth gait.

The girl's expression was troubled at the very thought of having to converse with the Drykas boy. Taylani clearly didn't find him as irritating as she did but perhaps that was because she wasn't being the one being pursued. Taylani's obvious suggestion that she was attracted to Nkosi made her shake her head but she kept her mouth shut, figuring that a denial would only make the captive woman think that she thought otherwise. She didn't even notice the change in the woman's voice, just mumbled a thanks and a farewell and left herself to return to the tent.

Waisana found herself unable to find distraction in her simple task so she gave into the direction of her thoughts and tried to puzzle out what to do about the persistent young man. It wasn't as if she liked him, there was absolutely no hint of attraction towards him, she was sure of that. Yet she wondered if Taylani had been right, could she be attracted to him but just didn't want to face it? The healer certainly hoped not because she knew how that would end and it wasn't an ending that she'd liked to see.

This was a lovely conversation to read. I don't think I've said yet, but I really like Waisana and her forthright opinions. She's a great character.
