13th of Fall, 513 AV
Syveris watched the Stained Glass Gallery ceiling with interest. She loved it with all her heart, how the beautiful patterns seemed to send an ethereal glow to the place. However, now she was there to study said patterns, instead of just admiring them. Virat had asked her to look over the glasswork on the city, not only to admire, but to learn from the work of other Avora. So Syveris had spent her day walking around, focusing on the beautiful glass pieces that were around the city. Her last stop had been the Gallery, simply because she loved it the most, and didn't want to miss the opportunity to spend more time on it.
The Avora laid on the floor, not really caring if anyone entered and saw her like this, and stared intensely to the patterns. They were beautiful, multicolored glass forming abstract forms in the panels, placed in a swirl, and send coloring light on the ground. Syveris also enjoyed looking at the beautiful arts in the collumns, but she focused on the glass panels. They were made crackling glass and adjusting the pieces into the patterns the glasswork wished, but that was about everything she knew about Stained Glass. Virat had told her she wasn't ready yet to make one.
Her musings were interrupted by a group of Yasi that entered the place, talking loudly. Syveris sent them a look, before returning her gaze to the ceiling. They were probably only talking about things like their bendi, or gossiping about some fellow Yasi. She wasn't interested in that kind of talk, but the loud voices were difficult to ignore.
"Did you see the sky? It's becoming completely dark! I bet it will be a big storm!" Syveris almost jumped to her feet when she heard that, controlling herself only enough to get up and quickly leave the Stained Glass Gallery. She could hear the chuckles behind her, and a voice asking her some ironic question she couldn't care less about, and was sure the group was having some fun on her behaviour. But she didn't care. Let them laugh away at her as much as they wanted.
A storm. It had surely picked up her interest. The girl sounded like it would be a bad one, and Syveris was curious to see how the sky would look like. She enjoyed glassworks, of course, but she had stared at them the whole day, and welcomed the change of events with open arms, mostly because she was supposed to figure out how they were made, and although Syveris had done that with the others, she couldn't know much about Stained Glass without learning the art first, so her homework from Virat was already finished, anyway. She quickly got to the Courtyard of the Sky, not actually entering the place, but looking at the open sky both above and in front of her.
Syveris sighed, a little disappointed. Yes, it was a storm, as the dark clouds were slowly covering the sky, and she could hear the thunders far away. But it wasn't nearly as bad as the girl had made it sound. Most of the current darkness was due to the fact that it was already evening, not to the clouds. Well, she had already got there, she might as well watch anyway. The bright side was that this storm wouldn't be a problem to Wind Reach, so she wouldn't have to worry too much about it.
