Appearance: Thacken stands at a height of 5 foot 11 inches and a weight of 165 pounds. He is quite skinny although work in the fields of his father has given him a small yet somewhat noticeable layer of muscle. He prides himself not by the tone of his body but by his night black hair which he takes from his mothers family. His hair is usually kept at a length that barely covers the tips of his ears. His blue eyes are another trait of his mothers passed on to him. He has a tanned skin from the long summer days in the fields.
Character ConceptFamily is the most important thing for Thacken. Along with that comes the respect of his families name and remembering the ancestors that brought his family the land which they now cultivate and farm in order to bring in the funds that keep them alive. To disrespect his ancestors in anyway would mean being ungrateful for all that they did for him. Hardwork was also engrained into Thacken's mind from an early age. "The soil bears what you give it," was a popular saying of his father and laziness was always punished as he grew up. Growing up in a cheerful household made Thacken develope the idea that every being is inherently good natured. This causes Thacken to become too trusting of others and at times form incorrect opinions of others.
Character HistoryThacken Had is the second born child of Thoren Had and Lysene Folly Had. The Had household was blessed with two other healthy children. The eldest, Fornost Had, was 26 years of age with a wife and son. Fornost took ownership of the Had's southern plots of land while Thacken was set to take the northen plots as his father grew older and unable to continue work in the fields. His sister, Sasha Had, was an 18 year old woman who had the eye of every eligible bachelor that had seen her. She was radiantly beautiful with the Folly black hair. Thacken's whole life had been spent working the family's fields. On market days he would accompany his fathert and brother, however now it seemed his father never made the venture due to old age, into the city to sell their yield. The Had family had made a name as one of the premier farming families in the city and therefore were much better off financially than many other small famers in the area. The farm kept about 5 or 6 hired hands at a time in order to help with the high yields they often brought in. Thacken, like his brother, was groomed to become a farm owner and all that entailed with the position. With this he learned to keep the books and ledgers, trading skills, animal husbandry, and was also required to pick up a few valuable fighting skills in order to protect from any unwanted persons on the farms. The Had farming household was a proud family and it was up to Thacken to continue the legacy of the family.
