First step on the road (rachel)

5th of spring

Olaf stuck out like a sore thumb the moment he walked into the pits. From the way he held himself and how he walked it was obvious he was a rather meek person. Not really wanting to occupy space or be a bother to anybody else. His shaggy fiery red hair that wouldn't be out of place on an inartha didn't really help to make him go up in the crowd. Luckely for his own comfort most people where to busy with their own training to really pay any attention to the shaggy fellow with the strange haircolor.

"Ya looking for somebody?"

Olaf turned around, startled by the voice.

"Bit jumpy aren't ya!" The rather rotund man laughed with a booming voice. "You're looking for an instructor right? you don't look like you know how to fight on yer own."

Olaf just let out an awkward chuckle, the man had laughed, so it probably was something funny about it. "Yeah, I'm looking for one."

"Right." The man clasped a hand on his shoulder and turned him around, ignoring the uncomfortable squirming of the young lad, and pointed towards a woman with blonde hair that was practicing with a sword. "She's a good one. Ain't to strict, doesn't bark at you like a rabid dog either. I guessed you didn't want one of those. You don't look like you would survive those." he gave a final clasp on Olaf's shoulder.

Olaf gave another awkward chuckle, not really knowing how to react to a person that insulted you in the same sentence as he helped you. "Thanks for that." He decided on just letting it slide. It probably was just something he did. He put it out of his mind and walked up towards the blonde woman. "Err excuse me. Are you one of the instructors here? I mean one of the other people here said you were one. But he could be wrong." Or just screwing with him. But he didn't say that out loud.
He fidgeted a bit as he waited for the woman's response.
