His lips curled downwards into a scowl at the mention of so much death and destruction, his own mind wondering if such a calamity were to befall here in Kalinor during his time. Such a thing was said to have happened in Kalinad, but that was long ago. "I can see why such a god was imprisoned, would that he stayed so..." He said as he turned back around on the silk rope, moving along once more. Ahead, the temple loomed ever closer, a place he would be more than relieved to reach after this woman's troubling stories. Communion might be just what he needed to ease his fears.
"Clamming you say? Even still, I would rather have rock above me any day! Up there, I feel.. vulnerable" That last word he spat more than said, the very feel of it on his tongue distasteful with its utterance. It also left him feeling more awkward than ever, having said such to her, and suddenly he found himself yearning for solitude. With such in mind, he crossed the last little bit of distance to the temple with haste, relieved to at last be at its' entrance, and without hesitation he descended within, stopping when his feet at last touched the cools stone that surrounded the blood pool.
At the sound of bare feet on stone that almost mirrored his own, he was reminded of his company, and turned on his heel to face her once more. "Alas, you will have to tell me more about this clamming some day, as well as other curiosities of the surface, but for the moment I am due to se Daratur, and you I'm sure might want to check if your family is about. It was pleasant making your acquaintance." He finished with a slight smile, and deep dip of his head before turning around once more to disappear deeper within the confines of the temple to find Daratur.
The End
