This was the paper that they had first exchanged in the desert when Lorettana
and Winona met. It is also the very first word in common that Winona learned to
write and know the meaning of. Very important to her.

I'm not allowed to use one sheet of paper for each letter in my name. I have to
write my name small so we don't waste paper. I don't like it.

I'm going to steal the paper to write my name while Lorettana sleeps. Lorettana
will never know.

Well... Lorettana might know tomorrow. Then I'll get in trouble... I think it's
worth it. I like to draw lines. (Write in Common)

In that case, I'll show Lorettana my lines tomorrow anyway. Maybe she'll like
them when I show it to her. Maybe she won't be so mad at me since I can write.

I was very wrong. Lorettana screamed a lot.
She scared the poor guide and me.
That crazy woman was going to kill us all!
I thought she was going to fall off the mountain!

She was signing very fast and
not even holding onto the rocks! I didn't think
she'd miss paper that much. It's not even expensive.

Actually, I lied. I'm not sure if paper is expensive.
