The unassuming den of the Constrictor Dhani, it is truly a pit of snakes. Travelers should take care, because the Dhani are always hungry... [Lore]
Spring was an uplifting season for the Dhani of Zinrah, the blooming of new things and hope, but this is dashed almost immediately come Summer when a 5 Dhani hunting party does not return on schedule from the wilderness, and later when several more sent out in order to search for them go missing as well. This sets the tone for a more somber and worrisome season. Several Dhani making rounds to the Kandukta are caught and eviscerated by a Myrian hunting party. Instead of sitting idly by several hunters take it upon themselves to take revenge upon their killers. Only time will tell if they will succeed or simply expound upon the number of Dhani corpses piling up in the Summer months.

50th - Two groups of Dhani, enraged at the Myrians who killed their brethren set off into the wilderness in search of revenge

78th - Despite the missing Dhani and deaths or perhaps because of them, many hunters continue to bring in lots of game for the nest

Fall marks the end of the Summer Monsoons and a much drier climate for the upper tunnels of Zinrah. With the Myrian blockade back to normal, and uneasiness rests between the savages guarding Zinrah and its denizens. Despite the normalcy of the situation, a strange tenor hangs in the air, each party wondering if the fragile truce put into place by their prospective Goddesses still holds after the events of the previous Spring.
The beginning of Fall marks an accident in the tunnels of Zinrah, injuring a dozen snakes and causing one fatality of suffocation when a major tunnels system collapses. Though there is outrage because of the event, it results in discovering a massive Hot Spring pool that is then renovated for the use of all, and is named rather reluctantly after the fallen male.
It is said that the week long ritual to Siku this season will be one to remember...
1st - Start of Fall.
5th - One of the final monsoons of Summer rolls in, drenching the surrounding area for several days as a final sign from Makutsi.

43rd - Construction is finished on the new Hot Spring
50th - All save for hunters and guards of the caverns are dismissed from work and jobs to participate in a week long festival dedicated to Siku and the beauty of the Dhani race.
57th - End of Festivities.
63rd - A few young Snakelings perish of illness and it is found that a new type of poisonous salamander has taken root in the wet lower caverns of the city.
70th - Rewards are offered to kill as many of the poisonous breed of Salamander as possible.
75th - Tanabis is witnessed bathing in the new Hot Spring.

92nd - End of Fall
Winter 513 :
Winter 513
Winter in Zinrah is simply a warm, comfortable season interspersed with the usual gossip, intrigue and power struggles. A small hunting party takes down an adolescent bull Tskanna early in the season which signals the beginning of a bountiful hunting season, but luck changes when a prominent water Reimancer in the nest goes missing amongst the ruins above Zinrah. Most suspect Myrians yet...no traces of involvement from the barbarians can be found...

90th - End Winter
Spring 514 :
Spring 514 A.V.
Spring in Zinrah is mild, longer periods of rain herald what will soon turn into the Summer monsoons, so certain tunnels are slicker than usual as rainwater works its way in from the Ruins above. A large number of snakelings hatch this season, boosting overall morale, though strange events and rumors during the course of the season hamper this somewhat...
1st of Spring - News travels of an albino snakeling hatched in the depths with strange yellow patterns upon her scales, some see it as an ill omen, others a sign of good things to come.
6th - A wrestling competition is held in The Training Gallery, an 'invite only' event in the wee hours of the night.
11th - Guards are forced to break up a heated fight in The Distillery.

47th - A collection of strange lizards is found nesting too close to a clutch of Dhani eggs, and any who volunteer to help eradicate the nest along with the guards are rewarded.
51st - Caiyha's Day All are expected to visit Caiyha's Shrine, and give respect to the Mother of Flora and Fauna, it is presentable to do so the day or the day after the quiet meditative celebration, however.
The Summer Season hits Zinrah hard and fast, but the mugginess and heat are something all Constrictors relish in. There is a marked increase in sluggishness in the nest, even the most upstanding guards finding their attentions slipping, their focus waning on their shifts. Most blame this to a particularly hot summer, others are not so convinced. Up on high, however, there are no such problems, and Queen Tanabis is heard to be drawing in more followers to her cause, creating a watchful network to keep tabs on those who interest her for better or worse...
3rd - Snakelings are Allowed out of the Nurseries for a Day to enjoy a day playing on waterlogged tunnels that act as water slides.
10th -The Distillery has free drinks on the house all night, a rule which actually lasts until three days later when they realize their mistake
25th - Tryllissle propriertor of True Beauty freely paints and designs all of those who pass by her shop, willing or not
30th - During the night two Myrian prisoners manage to escape their cages. This is not discovered till after the source of the lethargy is found and eradicated
32nd - A series of fights planned in the Training Gallery turns into a much more sensual experience aided by the addition of several kegs of beverages from the Distillery
40th - The Source of the lethargy is found in the form of a strange fungus that when combined with water and high heat emits a vapor that causes the mind and body to relax beyond caring. Slowly the plant is cleared away, and in places even burned, and transferred to much lower caverns.
45th - The effects of the fungus have completely worn off
50th - A Special Set of Baths are set up in the lower caverns, taking advantage of the strange fungus in order to help clients relax

70th - Several guards are discharged from their duties for deeds done during the 1st - 40th
76th - The events of the season hail a larger number of Constrictors coming to Siku's Temple to pray and seek guidance from her priestessses
92nd- End of Summer
Fall 514 :
Fall 514 A.V.
After the events of Summer, there is quite the payment going up around the caverns. Rumors have it that Tanabis is torturing more than Myrian captives in her private rooms. After the disappearance of Aka, the lax behavior brought on by the lethargy, some are beginning to question their Queen's otherwise flawless ruler ship. Some say it is those that do talk that are getting dragged to the depths, not killed of course, but not...entirely whole when they return. Others say that the Queen is simply arranging her affairs and assuming control once again. Either way, whispers and secrets can be more dangerous than a blade this season, and all should be wary...
33rd - Both Queens are found, they appear unharmed, but refuse to speak of where they were or what happened
41st - A three day celebration in Siku's honor is held in her Temple, attendance is recommended

66th - A private meeting is held in a corner of the Distillery, after a few bells, several guards come in to disband the group, and a brawl ensues. Rumors say afterward the Dhani participating were speaking treason
76th - Several female Myrians are brought in, and whispers say the Queen is pleased
91st- End of Fall
Winter 514 :
Winter 514 A.V.
Winter is a surprisingly jovial month for the serpents of Zinrah. Little to nothing is heard about or from Tanabis, yet the Queens of the city seem to take it upon themselves to liven up the caverns. For about half of the season Geomancers are put to work excavating and re-shaping tunnels under careful scrutiny for the integrity of the tunnels. A few minor collapses occur, to the Queens' chagrin, but the overall result are smoother and more intricate main passageways marked by an increased amount of glowstones as well as several depictions of Siku and the glory of Dhani into the walls.
Along with this several feasts are held within Siku's temple, marked by a singular sacrifice, but for the main purpose of bringing the nest together. These 'banquets' are entirely optional, unlike the normal seasonal events within the temple, though as the season draws on it seems as if there is a very purposeful stance to those that do not come...
1st - A call goes out to all those Reimancers in the city that know Geomancy
7th - A large hunting party arrives bearing divided up bull Tskanna
10th - Lesser Queens hold a banquet featuring almost entirely Tskanna meat in Siku's Temple
16th - Geomancers begin to work in pairs to re-shape and modify certain tunnels in the city.
30th - A medium sized collapse happens, killing one Dhani and injuring several more. The individual in charge of checking the stability swears the foundation was secure only months prior.
35th - Another banquet is held in honor of the dead Dhani, two Myrian females are sacrificed and the fare consists of several okapi, and Akila hounds
43rd - The Fence is giving 40% off used weapons! Emphasis on used
47th - Another minor collapse occurs, only injuring a single Dhani this time
52nd - Artists and Craftspeople are consulted as to the design and depictions that are put into the walls
60th - The Queens declare the new passageways complete, and the Distillery brings drink into the new halls, many citizens lounging and drinking within them
70th - Rumors of a Dhani being kept in the dungeon circulate
76th - Several Queens are summoned to Tanabis's personal chambers
85th - Snakelings are brought up from the nurseries to glimpse and enjoy the new murals
91st- End of Winter
Spring 515 :
Spring 515 A.V.
After a productive Winter, the lesser Queens endeavor to continue their behavior in the days of Spring. New and longer hunting routes are planned to bring back more food, and about mid way through the season a stockpile, kept chilled using Ice Reimancy, begins to build up in the depths of the nest, closely kept under watch by guards and hunters. As the stores slowly grow, and emphasis is put on copulation throughout the nest to bolster and expand Dhani numbers. A couple lesser Queens spearhead intimate parties throughout the season, a couple catered specifically towards vipers as well.
2nd - Ollisscint and Amira of Sissicillys begin organizing longer and larger hunting expeditions in order to bring more and larger game into Zinrah
5th - The fifth is a day of reverence and celebration of Caiyha and her many gifts to the Dhani, especially the ones living safely in Zinrah. Many visit her temple, and overall it is a quiet reflective day in the city
11th - The first of several 'intimate' parties to be held in the Spring is hosted in a lesser Queens lavish cavern, only a select few invited
20th - A hunting party returns with three Nandhai, and are lauded and congratulated inside the Distillery
24th - Another party returns with a massive Bull Tskanna (Cut up to better fit through the tunnels of course)
37th - A second 'vipers only' party is held in a Viper Queens cavern, all vipers invited and encouraged to intimately mingle
45th - A more expansive soiree is held amongst several caverns, hosted by a couple lesser Queens, with all welcome to mingle. Afterwards several claim someone spiked a few drinks brought up from the Distillery to liven the mood
53rd - Zinrah finds itself stockpiled with quite a lot of fresh meat, and they continue to keep it fresh in a deep cool cavern kept chilled with ice reimancy
64th - Talk flies of the Viper Queen who had the idea for keeping fresh meat cool and...fresh.
70th - Another night of drinking and debauchery begins in the Steam Baths
78th - A shipment of goods arrives from Black Rock, sending most Dhani into an excited frenzy at new fabrics and goods
