Time stamp: 2nd day of Summer
Konti Isle was truly beautiful in Summer, and as Serenity walked down the path, she was astounded by the beauty. Summer was her favourite season. Summer meant warmth and happiness and flowers. Many of the flowers of Mura had fallen or grown into fruit. As Serenity walked down Silverwood forest, the trees around her were in various stages of turning green to red. One of the larger trees she had spotted, was already a rich scarlet. Sizing it up, Serenity skipped down to the bottom of its huge trunk and settled herself there. Against the immense width of the tree, the Konti felt small and petite.
As she settled down onto the lush grass underneath her, her hands brushed over the pointed strands. The strange sensation was something hard to describe. It was almost like petting smooth glass, but having the sting of the sharp edges at the same time. Serenity sighed hopefully now she could finally catch up on some rest. The past few weeks had been hectic for her, as she had been busily planning her travels. Now everything was set, but Serenity had halted her progress to enjoy the Summer.
Serenity looked down at the ground, noting that she sit on delicate fronds of Thimbleroot. Thimbleroot was commonly used to produce a vibrant red colour in clothes. As Summer approached, the plant began to bloom into flowers. With her index and middle finger, Serenity gripped one of the thin stalks of the flowers, gently stopping when the pale fingers reached the pink petals. Softly, she plucked the flower from the ground. Red, fruit also hung on the branches. Serenity let them be.
As the soft summer breeze drifted over her, Serenity closed her eyes. Almost as if she was under a spell, her mind seemed to drift off unwillingly to a sleep.
