This lazy agricultural settlement rests on the swampy shores of the Middle Suvan at the delta of The Kenash River. The River's slow moving bayou waters have bred a different sort of people - rugged, cultured, and somewhat violent. Sprawling plantations of tobacco and cotton grow on the outskirts of the swamp in the rich Cyphrus soils, while the city itself curls around the bayou and spawns decadence and sins of all sorts. Life is slower in Kenash, but the lack of pace is made up for in the excesses of food and flesh in a city where drinking, debauchery, gambling, slavery, and overbearing plantation families dominate the landscape.

86th of Summer 514 As the long slow summer days started coming to a close the normal hot humid weather of kenash will slowly change into gusts of chilling winds and thick fog. At the beginning of the summer hours in the early morning of the eighty seventh a thick fog had rolled into the islands and beaches that made up kenash's proper during this early hour or the morning which was three bells before midday a young isur had just left his villa and was walking down one of the many roads of kenash. Solis after just leaving his house, walking just a few steps away from his door when he realized how cold the weather had gotten Winter will be here soon he thought to himself while he looked at the ground ten feet in front of his as he walked and reminisced about everything he had been through since leaving his home in sultros. Soon the young isur was out of kenash's proper and on the road headed eastward toward the blood flower plantation, Solis Keeped his eyes toward the ground occasionally seeing a pair of feet pass by him as he walked the kabrin road soon the young isur reached the blood flower plantation. The blood flower plantation along with the fields around was filled with a thick fog only a few silhouettes were seen in the distance. At this time the young isur paid close attention to the slavers watching over the slaves carefully in the early hours of the eighty seventh. Solis walked up the path to the sitai plantation the dirt under him slowly gaining moisture and turning into a thick mud. |

86th of Summer 514 After walking up the stairs of the elegant blood flower plantation Solis hadn't even made it to the door before he was confronted with the captain of the guard Varya who had just opened the door of the blood flower plantation when she saw the isur her face contorted with anger as she yelled at the isur "your late!! You incompetent fool we have an emergency three slaves have escaped they were last seen headed toward the south western corner of the property now go look for them and hurry! Make sure to bring them back alive!!"the women screamed at the young isur who just watched the myrian insult him for a moment his hands tightened into a fist before relaxing as he nodded before turning and rushing down the stairs as he headed toward the south western pathway That women is infuriating! he thought to himself as he thought of his infuriating superior.
Solis took slow steps as he arrived outside the fields of tobacco and hemp the swamp around the plantation was wild and untamed you could see swarms of bugs roaming the area. There was two things at that moment that worried the young isur, Finding the escaped slaves and accidentally running into a grenidile or some other dangerous fauna. Solis started walking quickly into the foggy swamp This is an awful assignment"Solis thought as he listened for any unusual sounds. |

86th of Summer 514 The sounds of the swamp overwhelmed any other sounds in its midst the sound of the swamp consisted of birds chirping, nearby animals shrieking all of these sounds seemed to be fighting for dominance of the swamp trying to drown out all of the other sounds contained in the swamp. The young isur who wandered the deadly swamp tried to avoid anything that would cause him harm. The dark murky area which Solis had walked into, decrepit trees loomed high above the young isurian, almost nothing lived in that forgotten area of the swamp the young isur observed the depressing expanse of land. Solis pitied the surrounding land if someone had spent the time to cultivate this land then maybe it would have turned out better maybe one day someone would come and help this land or the sitai's could expand their farmland to the south the young isur's mind stopped wandering when a loud branch snapped behind a large section of dead withered thorn bushes.
The young isur gripped the hilt of his hand and a half sword as he slowly drew the sword out of his sheathe as he approached the dead thorn bushes there was no quick way around the thorne bushes. Solis took careful time swinging his blade cutting through the dead thorn bushes his hands received cuts and pricks from all of the thorns. The isur's leather armor was covered with detached thorns ticking into his leather armor the young isur half way through the thorn bushes yowled in pain as he thrust his bastard sword deep into the ground so it would stand up. The young isur's right hand was covered in small cuts, Solis used both hands to hold his long sword Ashe pulled it from the wet ground. The young isur swung and cut through the rest of the bushes and when he reached the other side two pyguls huddled under a large tree with dead branches broken under them. The young isur stared "come on give me a break!" he thought as he walked toward the pyguls which quickly flew away. |

86th of Summer 514 The young isurian sheathed his blade before taking a moment of rest sitting in the mud just under the tree. Solis leaned back against the tall tree as he looked up towards the dark cloudy sky soon a light rain sprinkled down upon the already wet swamp, the isur exhaled a long exhausted breath "perfect..."solis said sarcastically before he looked back at the ground in front of him when just ten feet away being filled with the incoming rain was a set of muddy footprints leading off deeper into the swamp. Solis stood up This rain will wash those away...he thought as he brushed off his sides as he stood up and he followed the trail of footprints. Which lead into a brighter more vibrant part of the swamp every where you looked animals and insects thrived, the young isur had soon lost the trail when the tracks suddenly came to an end it could have been from the rain or they could have stopped all together Solis could not distinguish which circumstance it was. Little did the young isur know he was being watched, Solis walked around the surrounding area but soon the shower of rain ceased and the sun shined brightly through an empty space between clouds. Solis took a moment to look up at the brightly colored sky that's when one of the escaped slaves made his move, the largest of the escaped slaves. Solis felt a sudden hit to his side falling to the ground before getting another hit to his back the young isur yowled in pain as he rolled and saw the giant man ready to swing a large broken off branch being used as a make shift club. The young isur brought his arms up for protection the club crashing down against his left arm shattering the club in two. The slave once without his club made a made a hasty escape running deep into the swamps murky overgrowth. |

86th of Summer 514 Solis pushed himself off the soaked ground as he stood up taking a moment to recuperate when Solis realized what happened and what the slave tried to do the young isur lost his temper out of everything that happened to him today from being late to work to the rain this topped it off. "I'll kill that piece of trash!" the isurian thought "no I have to bring him back to the plantation... But he will not go unscathed" he said under his breath before taking steps in the escaped slaves direction those steps quickly turned into a full sprint as Solis followed the large slave. The thing with being in a blind rage is you don't have time to think Solis learned the hard way, behind a tree the slave stayed out of Solis's site when Solis ran just past the tree the slave held a large rock which the slave swung smashing the rock against the isurians face. The young isur fell back his hand holding his nose which was spilling blood down his face his nose was clearly broken to the left of his face, the large slave raised the large rock ready to smash it back aganst solis's skull. The slave suddenly stopped as a real was twisted around his neck as he struggled and dropped the rock two slavers looking for the three slaves had come just in time.
The young isur watched the slave get his hands tied and his neck wrapped with a almost leash like rope, one of the slavers helped the isur up "are you alright?"he asked seeing the isurians bleeding nose. "I'm fine I'm fine get him back to the damn plantation make sure he gets a good punishment"he said eyeing the slave with hate, Solis wiped his face on his leather sleeve before he yelped in pain when he grazed his nose "I'm going to have this checked out when I get back in the city"he thought as his anger dissolved the slavers left with the struggling slave. |

86th of Summer 514 Solis could still hear the sounds of the slave in the distance but the young isur had other things to pay attention to but he still would take pleasure in knowing the slave that tried to kill him will recieve some type of painful punishment. The isurian continued looking for any sign of the other two slaves, the young isur arrived at the flowing river that ran through the sitai's land, Solis watched the slowly moving murky water. Not too far from Solis's position the two remaining escaped slaves had prepared to swim across the unpredictable river it was ether swim across or try and make the long journey around the uvic lake. This was the faster alternative yet they were both dangerous if the slaves were lucky they could get across the river when the grenadiles weren't in the area. One of the two slaves took the slow careful approach slowly submerging himself in the water that's when Solis noticed the disturbance in the waters flow, he looked up river he spotted the slaves the isur ran up the river's beach rapidly approaching the two slaves. The slave in the water saw the young isur approaching them he looked at his female companion who looked at the water skeptically "hurry!!"the slave yelled and suddenly a full grown grenadile sprung up from the river bed spit could have swallowed the poor slave whole but it bit the slave in half. The river's water rapidly became a dark red color being filled with the slaves blood, the slave on the beach screamed as she backed away from the giant reptile |

86th of Summer 514 The petrified slave watched her dead friends upper half float on the surface of the water before the rest of the slave was eaten by the grenidile. Solis saw the slave get ripped apart well it was better then the slave getting away, the young isur justified before turning his attention to the remaining slave. Solis watched as the last escaped slave tried to run back into the thick swamp, the slave evaded Solis for several chimes but her sorrow for her companion is what gave her away. The young isur could hear her sobbing behind a large tree, when she heard Soliscoming to capture her she made a half hearted run for it but she was captured by Solis who came up behind her and grabbed her arm and twisting it behind her back painfully she screamed as tears poured down her face. The mercenary pulled both of her arms behind her back as he forced her to walk but she went limp, Solis grabbed her by her waist and he carried her back to the blood flower plantation as she went through the five stages of grief denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance by the time they got back to the plantation she was walking on her own looking down at the ground as Solis escorted her back to the slavers who took her away for punishment. The young isur went back into the plantation and he reported what happened during his day, "fine now your excused go home and don't be late tomorrow!" Varya said, Solis went home his work day ending. |

Your Righteous Reward!
Solis
Unfortunately you're not eligible to receive your grades as you need to update your ledger to include your seasonal expenses. Once you've done that, PM me and I will put up your grades. Good luck!
Note: generally speaking, your sentences are a tad long. You've got all the right words, but the structure is missing. Among writers long sentences like the ones you have in your posts are known as run-on sentences. Long sentences aren't always bad, but it's my opinion that you've got a few too many. Other than that, you did a decent job and I congratulate you on completing this solo.
If you have any questions, concerns, remarks, or comments regarding the grade, please send me a PM and we can work something out.
