Strangers in the woods ( Nidae, Seliarus )

Seliarus' awakening proved surprisingly calm, the leopardess rocked back on her heels, observing the Dhani man do his hair. It seemed rather silly to her, why fix it when it will just get mussed up? Then again, she couldn't really be one to talk, her own raven hair was in a dreadful tangle. She sighed and stretched once more, willing herself to stand up. "I'm find, I just-" She yawned, "I'll wake up on the way there. Let's get going." Nidae's eyes followed Seliarus' hand, looking in the indicated direction. "Great! Let's go find the road then," she said cheerfully, though somewhat tiredly. The leopardess winced as she heard the popping sound, her brow raising when she glanced at Seliarus. "You alright there?" Picking up her spear, she walked in the indicated direction, stopping just at the edge of the meadow. "Well? You guys coming or what?" she asked, pushing her hair out of her face.

"Coming." Nehsmay said cheerfully and took Shade by the reins, then looked him straight in the eye. "Now listen here silly colt, no more running or else it's back to Avanthal for you and I'm asking mom to take Myra, got it?" Shade looked to the ground sheepishly and neighed nodding. He was no fool; he knew Myra was an adult mare and knew much more than him when it came to traveling thus making here a better companion for his mistress. He counted himself lucky he got chosen the first time. "Let's go!" she easily maneuver him towards the path Seliarus indicated and started walking.

OOCShould we post until we get to the road, each of us posts in the Syliras Gates thread, and then have a new thread in the city? Nidassasyae grinned at the exchange between Nehsmay and Shade. The young leopard found the sheepish expression on the horse's face particularly funny, her smile just widening. Nodding, she turned, disappearing into the underbrush. Nidae was eager to see this city, Syliras. She supposed all cities looked something like Avanthal, though she wondered how all that icy rock wouldn't melt here...

OOC: Yeah, I think that would be best. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nehsmay couldn't wait to see Syliras. The only city she had ever seen was Avanthal and this was bound to be different than her home. She had heard tales about the knights that swelled in the castle so she was eager to meet one in person. She couldn't wait to be able to compare her home to this first foreign city she would visit. Humming to herself she continued down the road...

Seliarus stood shook his head again. Now, there was nothing more to say. And no longer could he back up. He followed the two once they tried to walk, but something started to feel wrong. his chest was starting to hurt, and his heartbeat fastened. He was actually going into a place with people. No wonder adrenalin kicked in so soon. He tried to shrug the feeling off, however, and keep up with the two companions he just recently meet, yet, strangely enough, he felt alright trusting them. For now, at least. He stayed silent for the most of the time they traveled.

Luckily, your posts were all pretty short . I understand that you guys seemed to have been powerposting the majority of this, and with the heavy dialog nature of the post I think thats okay. In the future though, a lot of players will find it hard to string a thread along without a longer, more descriptive post to really give them a feel for what your character is doing, seeing, smelling... Though, I did enjoy the meeting between everyones characters, and the thread was entertaining to read. If you have any questions about the XP/Lores received, send me a PM and don't be shy about it.
