The Atoll Quarters house most of the Eastern Bay inhabitants. Located along the northern edge of the bay, it grants some distance away from the Black Marsh. The Atoll Quarters began as a rudimentary shelter built by Charoda travelers wishing to reach Myri’s Teeth. Now it serves as both temporary quarters and permanent residence for a variety of inhabitants including Charodae, Iyvess, and even ghosts. It is made of coral and continues to grow as new units are added annually. Its temporary quarters are typically filled to capacity during summer, as the Ishta'ar and U'luia celebrations bring travelers from far and wide. Atoll Quarters occupies a large part of the northern reef and is one of the primary reasons why ships are not permitted into the bay.
Atoll Quarters is adjacent to the business district. Residents have convenient access to a variety of shops such as farmers markets, jewelry shops, crafts stores, and many others. The stables are also nearby for the convenience of seahorse race participants and sometimes even the local farmers.
Rooms range from small and sparsely furnished to extravagantly large with lavish sleeping quarters and furniture. There are multiple floors all accessed with steps, ramps, and swim tunnels sculpted of coral.
Ayan

Ayan N’hveh is a Charoda whose bright disposition contrasts his imposing form. He is well known in Eastern Bay, especially among the business district alongside the quarters. His glib tongue tends to ease the most stressed of residents. He is said to be an easygoing guy, though he is never flippant in business matters. Ayan has been called Ayan the Cyan by some because of his skin color being a bright blue hue resembling the color cyan. He has a knack for style, detail, and organization. He is a descendant of the Charodae who established the small and temporary Atoll Quarters during an excursion to Myri’s Teeth.
Ayan communicates regularly with the Administration Office. He is firm on maintaining a peaceful abode. He sometimes entertains his guests with singing and tales. Ayan keeps a full staff to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Kauri

Kauri is primarily in charge of staff and dining operations. She trains the new chefs and laborers and checks to see if employees are working proficiently and are content. Her staff has noted her patient and calm demeanor. Sometimes Kauri is affectionately called Mama. Kauri tends to be thoughtful and pensive until she is loosed in the kitchen. The kitchen is where she flourishes. Her love for cooking is infectious and has prompted some of her staff to ask her to share her techniques. Some of her foods help sick staff and patrons recover more quickly. Her catering services are popular during events.
When Kauri has free time, she likes to explore the business district and other areas around the island. It is rumored that even the Dhani and the Myrians respect her well enough not to eat her. Her biggest lament is that the ghosts are unable to enjoy the fruits of her culinary skills.
Nheyahsassivan

Sassivan is an Iyvess of few words and much action. She primarily works behind the scenes. She covers a wide range of tasks efficiently. These include quelling altercations in the quarters, escorting steeds to the stables, and maintenance tasks in and around the building. When Sassivan isn’t busy, she is gone tending to other matters such as a Great Hunt or protecting Charbosi. When she is around other Iyvess or Charodae, she tends to be personable or even talkative. Around all others she is mostly business.
Sassivan is devoted strongly to both Laviku and Dira. She happily assists Dira in whatever capacity she’s able. Sometimes she is seen on the grounds carrying her large war fork. Some have wondered of the stories of her travels, but few have heard them. It is presumed that Ayan is among the few, for he is the only known person who is allowed to call her “Sassi”.
