Drusilla seemed to change her mind quickly about the cherry picking because she immediately found a spot on the blanket and started to removed the food from her basket. Still laying on the blanket, Turrin rolled over and propped his head up on one arm as she started to unwrap the food from the cloth covering. When they were unwrapped Turrin was amazed at the amount of time and effort for the cooks to prepare uncooked fish. He knew the cooks tried to make the endal and avora happy, but Drusilla must have bribed them with pinions for them to go through the extra effort of making the food look nice. The uncooked fish smelled slightly pickled as it laid over the ball of sticky rice. Turrin wasn't a fan of uncooked fish since he lived in the jungles of Falyndar. He knew that people in his clan who got deathly sick from uncooked meat; however, the fish meat must have been prepared; otherwise, the cooks wouldn't serve it. Turrin gave the Symenestra a smirk and said as he reached for the uncooked fish on rice,
“I not so keen on uncooked fish, but it seem edible to eat at first glance...” The endal took a small bite at first, and he immediately tasted the slight pickle to the uncooked fish. He let the food sit in his mouth as he judged if he liked it or not. Eventually, he swallowed it, took another bite, and said to Drusilla,
“It is actually quite good. I was hesitant at first at raw fish because...” Turrin stuffed the last third of his fish roll in his mouth, chewed, swallowed, and said with a smile,
“...in Falyndar, you have to over cook everything otherwise you will get some sort of bug or stomach parasite. I remember the healers taking out a parasite out of hunter that looked like a wor..”Turrin wasn't used to eating a nice dinner outside because normally if he was out in the Unforgiving with other endal. They really could careless about manners or dinner etiquette, and nothing was off limit to talk about around the campfire. Last time, he was out with his Flight Leader Naime. She talked out the botched skinning job of a deer while she was gnawing on a bone of a rabbit. Turrin noticed that a person wouldn't make it long as a fledgling endal if they had a soft stomach as a endal. However, Turrin had to realize that he wasn't talking to one of his endal friends now. He was talking to Drusilla, so he figure that he should try not to act like a complete savage in front of her. Realizing that he shouldn't be talking about parasites when he ate his dinner of raw fish. The endal blushed slightly and said with a chuckle,
“Yes...the fish rolls are quite tasty, Drusilla.” oocTurrin isn't the smoothest man in Wind Reach.
