Known as the Celestial Seat, Nyka is a religious city in Northern Sylira. Ruled by four demigods and traversed by a large crevice, the monk-city is both mystical and dangerous. [Lore]

It was difficult, trying to process her feelings in regards to being here in Nyka. Serana had never been out of Ravok since she had been born, especially not on her own and yet here she was, in a strange new place without any sense of knowing how to go about all of this. It was incredibly frightening and yet at the same time, exhilarating. Sera knew nothing about Nyka other than the name of the city and that it seemed to be run by monks. What god was in charge here? Hopefully not Rhysol... Would he somehow let her master know where she was?
It was a frightening thought but she wouldn't allow her fear to rule her, not when she had so much exploring to do here in the city. So many people around, different races and none of them seemed to really notice her. She didn't have to look down or be dragged around by a chain and collar like the animal her master had made her into but rather strolled around on her own, like the equal of anyone else here. There were times she actually went out of her way to look people in the eye just because she could. Gods...she was weird.
The dark-haired Kelvic manuevered through the crowd, lost in a city filled with signs that she couldn't understand. She had never been taught how to read thus she looked at the etched letters with a mixture of confusion and disinterest. Before, it had never bothered her because what did a slave need letters for? Now that she was 'free'....They could be useful.
Not that she knew where she was looking for. She had no plan past, get on boat and leave Ravok. Everything else was just being winged and so far so good.
So many different sights and sounds to take in. It was a lot but she had to admit, she was enjoying it. The only thing that would have made the experience all the better was if she had been in her wolf form but that just didn't seem like the best of ideas. It was her wolf form that had landed her into slavery in the first place and though she loved it, she didn't wish to tempt fate a second time. So, dressed in a simple blue long tunic shirt with brown trousers, she sought...something. |

Gybe was currently running in a load of fish early in the morning. His net was about half full of fish, a fresh catch of the day and they had almost ceased flopping due to the summer sun that rest overhead. A cool breeze was upon the water and made the boat a bit rocky as he surged his oars toward land. He bore a pair of short pants, cut off at the shin, was barefoot, and shirtless.
The man, though Svefra, looked entirely like he belonged. His clothing, though minimal was full of color like the Nykans and his looks were like that of the Vantha. The only thing that stood out about him from many of the other burly sailor men who were out on the early morning waters was a brilliant blue tattoo upon his arm. It had a design of waves upon it and though like a tattoo, it swirled as if powered by some sort of divine magic as if the ocean itself was on his skin. As the wind picked up and blew the waves a bit more wild, so did his tattoo appear to be affected.
Such was the man who approached the docks in nary a cloth about his body, and when he finally made it to them, he tied up and hauled his catch up onto the wooden planks with a bit of a struggle. He was not the most strong man out there on the waters, but he managed to catch a good haul every morning. As he walked to the end of the docks, the familiar monks stopped him and he chatted with them a few moments.
From afar he would seem a bit friendly, but not overly so. It was still early morning and he had been working hard even before the sun was fully in the sky. Yet now with fish in tow, and the amount recorded properly, he was off to the distribution centers and then to Herring Square, however there was a woman studying on a sign. Most of the people passed her by, but Gybe could see she struggled. Perhaps it was intelligence that caused her to stand out in the crowd in his eyes, but he curiously watched her a moment before approaching. The fishy smell that offended some may have appealed to a kelvic wolf, but regardless for her taste for seafood, the smell would have gotten a bit stronger as Gybe approached.
“Oye...Hi there. Are you lost? Looking for the Safehaven?”
