Day 5, winter 515 AV
The deafening sound of the thunderous storm was enough to disturb Persa's sleep and make her jump out of her bed. Since abandoning Eyktol for Cuphrys, she still has problems getting familliarized with the weather of the region. The temperature here is far higher than in Eyktol where the hot temperature usually prevails and raining is not as common as in here. With concerns over her mother's luck puzzling her head, she wears her long tunic, apply some basic makeup, especially around the eyes and the mouth and wrap the cowl around her head and heads out in the city.
She heads for the port of Riverfall, hoping that she will get a beautiful view of the bluevein river.
The city bustle with life as usual, with the blue humanoids called Akalak dominating the city's population. In her way she notices that there are a lot of places filled with trees and green spaces in general. "Green" is something less common in Eyktol deserts, as the sand there usually dominates the landscapes but she likes that Rivarians have found a way to combine a more rural aesthetic to the city.
Upon arriving at the port, she noticed that the river branch off into gutters around the streets and the many artificial waterfalls scattered around the area. Persa smiles at the impressive sights the residents have created. She gets a feeling that this place, although not accustomed to her cultural customs and traditions, could be her ideal new home. New ships arrive and leaves the port and many people are occupied with docking and undocking their ships and unpacking the merchandise, carrying them to the city and distributing them to the various businesses. She unwraps her hair to get some air and then Persa catch the attention of an Akalak who was standing by the port. He smiles at her and she smiles back. With her eyes locked on his, she beckon him to come closer, and he response by moving to her. After greeting each other Persa asks directions on whether there is a good place for sightseeing. He points at the cliffside Grotto located north east of their location. "If you follow the river and past the Pearl house, you will get to the cliffside. Climb it up and you will find a wonderful view of the Bluevein river."
