Question about racial gnosis (Myrian)

Question about racial gnosis (Myrian)

Hi,

I've seen a lot of conflicting answers to this, and some people with gnosis stories on their character sheets and some without, so I'm not sure if it's mandatory of if some people just wanted to do them. As my character is Myrian and therefore pretty much automatically gets a prowess gnosis, do I still need to post an actual thread detailing what happened/how she got it on the help desk, or can I just request it there without the story?

Also, what age would a Myrian be when they get it? According to The Blooding page it happens 'upon a Myrian youth's completion of her Coming of Age Trial' (when they're 16), but according to this it only happens after three years in the military (which they must be 16 to start).

As a racial gnosis you do not need a story as it is granted to you by race. You just need to submit a gnosis request in the HD and recieve the Storyteller Secrets thread and append it to your profile.
Which way do you want to go? Up or Down?

Attention Players, Graders, and Storytellers:

A character sheet does not require the green checkmark for the player to roleplay. This is just a notification to all that the character sheet has passed through the Liaisons thorough checklist and meets Mizahar standards.

All sheets with a large red X or a speech bubble beside their thread title do not recieve grades and cannot continue threads they are currently involved in until all issues have been fixed and verified.

From everything in my understanding (I've made 2 Myrians by now) you can get it when you're 16 at your coming of age trial. The Taloban Army page was being written up by a past AS of Falyndar (Voodoo) who was in the process of working out kinks. She had most of it settled, but I think she missed a few small details.

If I'm wrong, than I apologize, but I am fairly certain she meant you must complete your army time after your ceremony, or when you "officially" become a Myrian, as recognized by the goddess. You can ask Traverse to be positive, but I would go with the main lore on the race, instead of the Taloban army page.
