Winter of 27'th out of 92nd
The cool air brisked away as Adyel walked throughout the city of Riverfall. The city that could possibly mesmerize any outsider. With its intriguing design. Built on the edge of a cliff, adjacent to the Suvan Sea. The Sea itself, was one thing out of particular that could spark an interest in ones eyes. But, Riverfall, now that was a different story. Adyel could never leave Riverfall, but he had wanted the need to. Even though, he has a great family at the moment. A loving lady who decided to take him home and continue raising him as a good young boy, to turn out like a well behaved young man.
The Konti woman, Kavala. Was her name. She was beautiful by the looks of it. She was kind and generous. She was willing to help anyone who was in need. And Adyel appreciated what she had had done for him. She even decided to take him as her own. Adyel was even more so flabbergasted that Kavala had been so cordial and gregarious around him. He hadn't thought of being in the city alone. He had told Kavala that he was going out for a few bells. They had just recently ate lunch so Adyel wasn't out for that reason. He wanted to get something special for Kavala. Or at least hope to.
He didn't feel safe when he was alone. Though, he took the courage and continued to shuffle throughout the city of Riverfall. The Kelvic didn't want to be caught in the middle of some big dramatic dispute between the other commoners who lived within these walls. He passed a few people whom he had not recognized. A few looked like Akalaks, and some supposedly looked human. From what Adyel can assume. He didn't know much people here in Riverfall. The people that he has a knowledge of knowing would be Kavala, her children, most of the crew, and Namorin whom he had met recently.
Adyel wasn't too keen on the layout of the city, while he was alone, he had been lost for a while some days. Perhaps even for a few chimes. Adyel had just left one of the parks that was adjacent to the Cavern Creations. He wasn't sure if it had an exact name, but he was definitely sure that being alone for almost a bell felt good. He liked walking through the parks, it gave him time to think, and it was also a plus for him because he didn't need to worry about the other territorial creatures that roamed the wild lands of Riverfall.
Even though, it might seem ironic. Since he was a pretty territorial lion. Though, he hadn't found his territory to call him. He didn't know where he would call home. But, he knows one thing currently, his home is here. In Riverfall, with Kavala and the rest of The Sanctuary. That was where his home was. The Sanctuary with Kavala. Whom had taken him in as another one of her own children. She had a lot of characteristics like his mother's. Liandrin was his mothers name. She was kind, thoughtful. And she knew how to negotiate with others and interpret what they need. That part, felt a little strange to him. Though, would it be just as strange as him having the ability to walk through walls? Or was that a thing that could only happen in dreams?
He didn't know if he should tell Kavala about the mark from Yahal and about the ability that he could walk through walls. Was it normal, to just phase through a wall and come out the same way? Or... Never mind. Adyel thought. He pushed the thought aside as it didn't bother him to much. But, it was strange that Yahal would want Adyel as one of his children. Would Kavala know eventually or? "Hey watch it, kid."Lost in thought. Adyel didn't realize that he walked into another person."Sorry, my bad..."Adyel claimed. He didn't mean to bump into the person, there were tons of other people that he could bump into. But, it wasn't the first time that he had bumped into someone.
After the short interruption, Adyel took a turn down an alleyway. It was dark, in a way. And gloomy. The young kelvic felt worried suddenly. He took his hood on his coat and pulled it over his head as he slowly walked through the shadowy alleyway. The sides of the buildings grew dark, and clammy as Adyel had gotten more terrified by the tick. He felt a tug at his leg. And nearly screamed. His hood fell back to his shoulders. He didn't know what it was that touched him, but it felt like a human's hand. Or a hand in general, but he didn't know who's.
The boy jumped out of the person's grasp and staggered back to the other side of the wall gripped it tightly. Afraid of whom it was or what it was. Who or what would it be? Why would it do something like grab his foot? Was Adyels foot invading someones personal space that the young Kelvic hadn't noticed? Or was it just his imagination?
