Timestamp 36th day of Winter, 515AV
A short time had passed since the arrival of the letter from her father. Its indication showed she was to be effectively disowned from the family for safety of not only the tribe, but herself. The aftereffects of her "prophesy" had been more severe than even her father had predicted. The cult of Rhysol now had been exposed at the heart of Yahebah and like a kicked nest of bees, they were not happy.
Elann was still saddened in heart, unsure of what to think, what to do. She had talked to Noah about it a little, and she trusted his wisdom, yet still, she wanted a second opinion from her only other friend. While not anywhere near the caliber of relationship that her and Noah had, Morian was a kind man, and one who enjoyed both her company, and her tea. Wearing her clothing trimmed with furs, Elann did the best she could to stay warm as she made her way to the Temple of All Gods.
It had been at least a week since she had been in, being one to quite frequently stop in after work or before it to pray. The creak of the oak door sounded as she made her way inside and closed it behind her. Despite the cold of outside, and the expanse of the building, it actually felt warm inside. Elann took in a deep breath, reminding herself of the scents inside that had become familiar to her and she then moved from the doorway to a bench.
Seating herself toward the front was a common occurrence for her, but this day she sat further back, alone with the small pouch in her hand. There she settled in, reaching out in heart and mind to follow the instruction Noah had so wisely given her. Yahal was an approachable God, one who she was certain still watched over her in faithfulness. Calmly her fingers played over the fur trim as she sat there, thinking on what she should pray for. Her eyes slid shut and she took in a deep breath. There she meditated for a while, focused on the good of her god's character. He had done so much for her, preserved her. Slowly through her meditation, she knew what to pray for.
"Thank you Yahal, for preserving your daughter. Your grace and love has never abandoned me. I am struggling now though. This is so hard." Tears began to roll down her cheeks as she bore her heart out to him in Shiber. "I don't know what to do, what to think, and I need some discernment. I could really use a guide. Please great god of my people, hear my plea. I am all alone here, my people gone, my friends, my family, all whom I loved." She lowered her head more, "Thank you for Noah, he has been a blessing to me over these past few months and has become my family where I have none, my friend when no-one was found, and he continues to grow closer to my side more and more each day. He has been a wonderful gift to me. I just need to hear some answers from someone who knows you though."
