Julla Orrinade Appearance Race: Inarta Caste: Chiet Gender: male Age: 19 Birthday: 90th of Fall, 497 AV Birthplace: Near Mt. Skyinarta, Wind Reach Appearance: Julla is a sturdily built young man of 5'6". He has mid-parted hair that falls shorter about the face, but is drawn to longer strands of fiery ginger hair on either side of his head, curling at the ends. A droopy eye shape is counterbalanced by thick, angled eyebrows, and his pale turquoise irises give a soft, kind impression. His face is covered in freckles, despite the remainder of his body lacking it. His mouth is prone to shaping upward in content, forming the turtle-like curvature that is deemed most distinctive on his person. Character Concept Julla is as unfiltered as they come. Not that he openly spews profanity (he is greatly against this), but rather that he in unfiltered in his opinion. Politics, life choices, personal problems, he tells it all, and with little thought of the lingering effects. It is not to say he doesn't value the other's opinion, but he also sees that there's no point in hiding the truth of one's feelings. Despite this, he is gullible, and while he understands that there's evil the world, it is very difficult for him to distinguish the true intentions of those he comes across. Character History Julla’s mother, Mykoe, grew up in her hometown of Wind Reach. As a very outgoing young woman, she made many friends, was admired by many elderly, and had a positive reputation with the people she lived alongside. Considered a very beautiful young woman, she had a sizable amount of young male devotees who often fought for her approval. When she turned nineteen, she was deemed ready to marry, and while she had a mate in mind, she was a foolhardy flirt who toyed with the other men’s emotions. As a result, those men she called friends began to back away. Before long, only her few female friends remained. The week before her marriage to a Hadriv Neridan, she was attacked by one of the men who still secretly loved her. He raped her, leaving her feeling abandoned and alone. She knew she had to consult her fiancé on the matter. Out of fear, she instead called off the wedding, proclaiming that it wasn’t the right time. Then, forty weeks later, on the 90th of Fall, Julla Orrinade was born. Julla grew up with his mother along the inner parts of the city. He acted very much like his mother in her younger years, as she’d grown to fear the world and interaction with others. He was very outgoing, considering he’d been taught to take the world very seriously. He never knew of his blood father, but knew that it was the only explanation for his darker-toned skin. At the age of ten, he saved an injured hawk (later named Iscr), nursing it back to health and bonding with it. His skills with the bow, while rusty, had also improved as much as they could. When he'd reached the age of seventeen, he decided on journeying out beyond his homeland, joining a caravan until he stopped in Lhavit. He's been living there since his arrival.
