Okay guys -

As a community, what do you guys think of starting weekly tasks to keep our city moving? This would be a thread goal I'd like each of you to participate in weekly. For example... the first week in Dec... lets make it a goal to start one training thread for each citizen in Wind Reach. Threads can be done in groups, but you only have a week to get it done! Then... second week, we can do something like a comedy thread. Each person must entertain one other person in a thread that week... etc.

So four thread goals a week (as posted on the WR Calendar that will be posted at season change) and everyone that meets the goal and finishes all four threads by end of the month gets on a December Hall of Fame board. We can start a thread in the discussion section for weekly thread goals... and get a whole bunch of ideas for such things.

This is to help alleviate boredom, generate threads, etc, and let everyone have a goal of four threads a month to start and complete - length up to the poster. We can have some sort of super medal at the end of the season for everyone who made all their thread goals for the months of that season.

So each thread can only last for one week? then the next week a new one starts? Each month? Or can the characters start 4 threads for the month and run them all at once throughout the IRL month? I'm not sure I understand the whole thing. i like the concept, but if he threads are only going to last for one 'real world' week, then I'm not sure that would be good becuase some people aren't able to get on every day of the week or post every day of the week and such. It would make for a lot of opened-but-never-truly-finished threads.


Also, I'll apologize for not getting posts up any sooner. Things are just nut right now due to many reasons.

Length and duration is up to you. Start is according to what the theme of the current week is. So say you wanted to do all four threads, you just need to start and do the threads during that month. I don't see any reason not to allow early start so you can get them all going at once. You can finish them off completely whenever you get them done. You can solo these and they can be as long or short as you want them too. Groups might be encouraged though because there will be lots of motivated people wanting the same types of threads.

Alright, so as long as the time stamps for the thread fall upon the proper week, then we can start them all at the beginning of the real world month and play them out from there, so long as they get done within a week's time frame in the game world and before the end of the real world month.
