Oh hai. I'm new here. :3

I'm not sleepy yet, so while my baby and hubby snore away, I can pop in and say helllllooo! I just sub'd my CS but I got a few things out of order. I'll just have to visit in here until a kind mod helps me out. Yays.

I wish I had some jokes but the hour is too late for me to be funny in that way anymore.

Hi guys!

We're self starters here, which means post lots of open threads. If you need any help at all, let us know - we'll graciously loan out NPCs, mod things, give you new locations, or set things up so you can have your own personal brand of fun. Flicker has a big festival planned soonish (before winter is out - so she'd best get going on it) in which each mod is going to run a different thread in regards to it. So you guys should have lots of modly attention in a short order.

But get to know one another. Definitely make sure you have a caste and duties to earn your seasonal income so you aren't totally dirt poor. And if you want to be Endals, that's more than okay, you just need to approve your eagles through me or Dream (Dream's being a bit quiet atm because hes super busy irl remodeling a whole house to sell by himself - its not that he's falling out of love with Wind Reach!). So I might be the best first choice.

Sometimes I read PMs at night at work and don't remember to reply to them the next day... so if you actually send me one and don't hear back within 12-24 hrs resend it. I get distracted with other things here fairly easily.

I really want Wind Reach to be a semi-closed tight knit society with its share of epicness and to that end we all have to work together to keep things interesting. It's not a gentle society. If anything, Wind Reach can be fickle and brutal though highly rewarding. Keep that in mind as you thread. We're open to all sorts of things - food theft, trading up your living quarters, shirking your work, hunting, cleaning out vermin in the mountain (the snakes are incredibly deadly when they move in during the winter), sneaking in to handle eagle eggs and dream about being something more, etc. We'd really love to generate some epic craftsman and craftswomen too. So to this end if there is ANYTHING we can do to help, please let us know.

Thread grading will happen today too. I tend to grade on the weekends and clean out the Mod Request Thread - so throw yours up if you want them credited asap if they are done.

Okay guys, I'm being proactive!

I have posted the festival. If you do no participate I will take it as a personal affront and your character will forever be at the mercy of an offended mod. Got it? Good.

Welcome new folks!

The Courtyard Warrior's Challenge will be posted sometime late tonight. I was going to get to it last night but got hugely distracted by the need to finally sleep. I have a two hour class today before work so I'm not going to be able to get it finished and posted yet. If you have no combat skills, still feel free to play in this challenge. There will be points awarded for 'moves' and 'daringness' so folks can have a chance to win without actually making it to a flag etc if they gain enough points.
