The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Halin'a takes the sketch with a grateful smile, which widens in appreciation when he sees the product - it's a very good likeness. "This is amazing," the Ethaefal says, glancing from the sketch to its creator and then back. "Truly incredible; you have talent."

Halin'a follows Eldecrok to the bench, taking the offered seat before returning his gaze to the child-like figure. "Perhaps," he says thoughtfully in response to the Akvatari's suggestion. He studies the other person; the uneasy feeling is still there, but the Lethaefal still cannot pinpoint the exact cause. Folding the sketch, Halin'a slips it into his pocket before standing once more and approaching the child. He didn't seem to be terribly upset, the way that Halin'a imagined a lost child might be - in fact, he seemed perfectly calm, if intensely focused on the book in his lap. "Excuse me," he says as he approaches, making certain to approach from a direction that the boy can clearly see him from. "Are you lost?"

As he draws closer, Halin'a can begin to pick out more details - they're not much, not in the relatively weak lamplight, but Halin'a can see that the boy appears to be about four and a half feet high, roughly the size of the average eight year old, and his hair is messy, as though it hasn't been brushed in a long while. "Are you all right?" Halin'a continues as he watches the child carefully. There's still something about the child that seems off, and until he knows what it is, Halin'a is careful to keep his distance.

Vick took a break from his rough draft that he was working on and looked at the two figures. His magic flaring to life as he focused his djed and saw the dark world turned into a swirl of colors as he looked upon their auras once more as they spoke to him.

“No...I am not lost. Just finding it peaceful away from the busy life that this city always seems to have.”

He spoke softly to them. His eyes looking upon them. The Ethaefal had a more of an orange, yellow aura to him. Yet besides that he did not make much out as he looked upon the Akvatari who had color of blue and orange.

Colors meant different things to different people Vick found long ago when it came to using Auristics. He knew a figure called Thomas saw Vick as a yellow shade with death in the air but not everyone saw that.

“What brings you two out here?”

Vick said as he placed his items in his lap as he looked at them. His face dull of emotion as he kept to himself not making any movements as he kept forgetting to act like a human at times when under stress.

Eldecrok was often oblivious to the spiritual, so even if there was anything suspicious Eldecrok wouldn't detect it unless it manifested in the physical world. Eldecrok's tail lightly flopped a little, his interest in the young boy increasing. His gaze shifts from the boy to the sketch, and every couple of seconds he would continue to do this for a moment until he himself began to enter the conversation.

"Myself? I was doing some work drawings some flowers and such. I'm here to make sure they grow well, and record when they don't. We only recently met ourselves, and I wanted to see if you wanted to join in our little chat. You seem like an interesting fellow. Perhaps you would like a drawing as well? I'm sure I know of something I can draw that would appeal to you. Either way, come on over and sit next to me. Or stand, whatever floats your boat. Anyway, whenever you are ready."

Patting the seat next to him, Eldecrok scooted a bit to the end of the bench to make room for the child. He began drawing a bit of fire, since surely that's what little boys around here wanted, no? Eldecrok thought, though sexist as it may be, that little girls would prefer flowers, and boys would prefer magic and swords. After finishing the base of the fire, Eldecrok then proceeded to make the outline of a sword.

"Come now, what are you waiting for? I've made a seat for you as well if you would like to rest your legs..."

OOCEep! Sorry for long wait; got caught up in doing job threads

So the boy was not lost, but rather doing something similar to both Halin'a and Eldecrok; he was enjoying the night, and seeking a respite from the busy city. Well, Halin'a certainly could not blame him for that. "My name is Halin'a," he says, and then listens to Eldecrok speak and move, making a space for the child to join them. The boy seemed unnaturally still, Halin'a realizes, the hairs on the back of his neck prickling. What was this boy? He appeared human, except for the stillness, but Halin'a had never met another human who made him feel so uneasy without obvious cause.

"Come join us," Halin'a invites as well, gesturing back to the bench where Eldecrok was sitting. "If you'd like; I've heard that two's company, but three's a crowd, though I don't particularly hold to that." Halin'a had often found, at least in Zeltiva, that three was actually a rather nice number to work with. Not that he would say anything of the sort to either of his new acquaintances. "Of course," he adds, realizing that perhaps this child is, as he suspects, something more than human(or maybe less than), then maybe he will desire solitude more than any minor desire to be polite and accept their invitations.

OOCShort reply, I know; but I couldn't think of anything else to add that wasn't repeating something that had already been said once or twice before.

He would sigh but he did not. He found being social rather taxing as he grew up in a world where it was never done. He just grew up in a place where you worked and took or gave orders. At first he took them but once he grew and understood his craft he gave them. Even now he wanted to tell them things but he would not. He could not in the end as he was not in any type of position to handle that.

He placed the book down and looked upon them. His unblinking eyes at last blinked once or twice in rapid movement as if someone looked upon the sun for too long. He did not smile as his face held almost emotionless figure as the child’s smile was missing but he did his best to not to look annoyed even if he was in the end at being took in as a group.

He moved to join the two at last but did his best not to stick too close to them or even have their bodies touch his. If they did touch him they would not feel the warmth of his skin but just feel the long dead body that he was using. It was not like he would broadcast what he was but he would not mind if they thought he was just a random odd human.

“Thank you...I am still not use to this city. What do you two do around here?”

He had asked as he looked at them, moving his gaze between them as he spoke since the question was to them both, He was not sure what they wanted or if this was normal for people due to his lack of understanding of dealing with social interactions.
