It was a cold, dark day as the sun simply refused to rise up during this time of the season. With the chilly wind digging under the cloak of Ascen's back that feels like icy fingers clawing on the very cloth of his shirt. The young Inarta can be found in the midst of Frostfawn Hold that is actually climbing up on the building that's under the boy's name considering that he owns the house. What might have encouraged the boy to climb up on his house one might wonder? Well there happens to be a Frosthawk that's sitting on top of the roof as it seems to be taking a break from flying. Its rare enough to find Frosthawks so close to civilization, but to find it perched on top of these roofs is even more rarer.

Sadly though, it was quiet hard to climb when the buildings are made of stone that's coated in ice and snow. Luckily Ascen managed to morph his fingernails into a pair of onyx black talons that allows for better grip onto the snow and ice. In exchange of this advantage, Ascen's hands are at this point icy cold to where the boy has to alternate handholds as he is climbing so that he can tuck one hand close to try to keep warm as he's climbing. Muscles that he didn't know that he had was practically screaming at him from the palms of his hands despite the fact that there's a strip of cloth wrapped around on each of his hands. Another factor that Ascen didn't forsee until he was almost to the top of the building was that the walls not only gets steeper, but they also become harder to find enough ice that's either wedged by snow or sticks out to serve as a handhold.

So after looking around a bit for any potential handholds, Ascen decides to use the remaining of his grip strength by planting his feet on the previous handholds and kicks himself up with his hands lashing out to grab the edge of the roof. Luckily the boy manages to grab onto the edge with both of his hands, but the insides of his hands and even his fingertips were screaming louder in pain. Meaning that he was beginning to lose more of his grip strength into his hands while Ascen is trying to find any footholds to place his feet on so that he's not relying on his hands too much. It didn't seem to be working, and Ascen was starting to slip by the second. So using the remaining strength in his hands, Ascen barely pulls himself while digging his talons into the icy roof that actually cracked the ice a bit because of how much pressure there was. Eventually Ascen managed to swing his right arm over to serve as leverage while swinging his lower body to the left so that he could get his foot on the edge too. Leaving Ascen only to roll over before he was officially on top of the roof and exhausted from both using his Res and physical wise.

The red head reshapes the talons back into the normal, human fingernails that's kind of chipped that honestly irritated Ascen a bit. But once he caught his breathing, Ascen looked around on the roof only to find that it was just him on the roof. Meaning that the Frosthawk had already flown off while he was probably still climbing. Letting a hefty sigh that looked like a cloud of steam flowing from his lips, Ascen gets back up on his feet and is actually trying to figure out how to get down safely without having to climb down. Mostly because he knows that after climbing up here there was no way that he would have enough grip strength to even climb halfway down without falling. However once Ascen takes the snowy ground into consideration, the boy would grip onto the edge of the roof with his hands and purposely let his body fall while simultaneously push himself away from the wall. So that for one Ascen could control where he lands and won't risk knocking his face into the icy wall. Just like that Ascen falls onto the snowy ground that was originally on his feet, but his legs grew wobbly from the impact that he winds up falling down anyways.
