Body Type: Athletic Skin Color: Dark Olive Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Dark Brown # of Arms: 6 Character Concept Rakhasta is a very straightforward man, who believes you can tell far more about a person by their actions than their words. He's no fool, having grown up in the deceitful courts of the Eypharians, but has a tendency to trust those of a martial persuasion more than others. He has no strong sense of honor, instead believing that in nearly all cases the ends justify the means, and one must always keep their goals and intentions in mind. As long as the goal, and the result, is pure all means of achieving it are excusable. He loves and misses his family, and feels very real shame for causing such embarrassment in the courts. He has a secret love for culture and the arts, particularly theater, believing it to be a pillar of community and tradition. He is a very traditional man, and wholeheartedly believes Eypharians are a race superior to all others. Himself? Perhaps not, as long as he is in this prison of shame in the middle of nowhere, but someday he will be with his kin again. Character History Rakhasta grew up in the House of the South Winds, and as such lived a life of luxury in his early years. He grew up watching the glorious and artful semhu plays his family would commission and attend, and by the time he could decide what path his life would take he was enamored with the path of the warrior. He began his training with the House Guard and performed quite well, gaining high marks that brough the attention of the heads of the family. When he was asked to do some discreet kidnapping for his uncle as part of a power play against the House of the West Winds, he saw it as a way of possibly raising his ranking and station, and so accepted. The whole affair was a bungle however, as Rakhasta is not a particularly stealthy or tactful man, and ended up captured by the House of the North Winds, adding yet a third element to the equation. The House of the South managed to ransom him back to avoid death at the hands of the West, but banished him for the embarrassment and his incompetence. They were not willing to part with his usefulness, however, and so put him on a ship to Syka. They hoped that in this untamed forest land he could make a new name for himself that would overshadow the embarrassment he caused, bring glory to the family, and they would be able to return him back home. And so in early Autumn of 516 AV Rakhasta landed on Syka's tropical shores, prepared to begin his atonement.
