Ixtli's Camp
Ixtli has claimed five acres of land just south of the Syka's Commons. The land encompasses a sandy strip of the beach, a rocky outcrop facing Solitude Isle and a large part of jungle ground, yet to be explored. So far all she has found is a very small stream of water a few chimes of walk into the rainforest but hasn't ventured much deeper.
However, she knows the jungle is rich with wildlife; the cries of monkeys in the canopy can be heard througout the day, while many birds and insects are to be seen on the trunks and branches of numerous species of trees and shrubs. And though she hasn't tried her hand at fishing yet, the outcrop plunging into the bay is a good place to collect crabs and other shellfish for an easy meal.
Her camp is set a dozen feet away from the shades of the first trees, far enough from the Commons to get some quiet when the meeting place is busy. She lives in a four-person tent she has set with the entrance flap facing westward at the bay, to avoid strong winds coming from the sea. The tent itself is sheltered by a camouflage tarp, and a hammock is hanged nearby under the shades of palm trees on the beach. There is also a firepit dug in the sand a few feet away from the tent that keep crumbling under the breeze and has to be fixed almost daily. She has sworn to herself that she'll build something more durable and in the meantime keeps being frustrated with it.
Inside the tent, a room is saved for sleeping only, where usually she rests over the laid-open blanket and bedroll. Her possessions are sort of scattered in piles around the other rooms, houseware being kept near the entrance while her tools and clothes are stored baskets and chest in another corner.
Ixtli is used to a lifetime of being outdoors, especially in the jungle, so her tent is mostly used for sleeping and storage. Sometimes when she isn't busy with chores or work, she can be found idle in her hammock, but most of the time she is out and about.
