Appearance
By Day. Standing almost at 5'8", the sun diminishes everything Cetus should be; he's a wisp of flesh and bone, wrapped in clothes fit for someone, or something, much larger. His face is sharp angles and a splash of brown freckles across. His hair is a thick black mess with odd strands of red. In sunlight, his eyes are chocolate brown.
By Night. Under Leth's watchful eye, Cetus is stripped of human imperfection. He shines opal and silver; his skin holds moonlight. Like a ram, he grows two thick ridged horns that curl behind his ears. He's tall, measuring in at 6'4", statuesque and obvious. His features soften, plump, and widen; his eyes are now a deep violet.
As with all Ethaefal, Cetus' coloring changes with the seasons.
Spring: hair is cornflower blue; horns are crisp linen white.
Summer: hair is coal black; horns are apple green.
Autumn: hair is pale-harvest-moon-orange; horns are egg yolk yellow.
Winter: hair is graytint white; horns are violet (like his eyes).
Character Concept
If Cetus' world shattered with the Valterrian; it ended with his fall. In his years wandering Mizahar, he toes the thin (thinning) line between zealot and faithless; between survivor and vindictive. Like his patron, he is mercurial and thoughtful. Cetus hopes, blindly, that his fall wasn't without purpose. He searches for meaning in his everyday and, more desperately, the answer that'll bring him back home.
