It's time to Work

Season of Winter, Day 7, 521AV

Early morning, the sun has not even awakened from its slumber yet when Evalynn was standing in front of her window. She was meticulously tucking her hair into and under her hooded cloak after just styling it to hide as much of the shimmering color on its underside. The dye job she had done herself had turned into a disaster at first, with the natural hair color not matching very well at first, so instead she decided to color her ends in an odd but not unusual color. So far, the people of Zeltiva had not questioned her too harshly, they only wondered why she had dyed her hair in such a strange way. But that was mostly on the edge of town, today she was venturing deeper in search for a job as she didn't know how much longer she would last on the generosity of the poor.

'It's okay Evalynn, don't freak out, just stay calm and you can make it happen.'

Evalynn took in several deep breaths before turning on her heel and making her way to her door. At the door she grabbed her satchel, a basket, and her coin purse that she tied to her waist. Walking out and locking the door behind, Evalynn made her way down the many twisting streets before she finally making it to West Street. There were many more people walking this road, and the sight overwhelmed Evalynn a bit. Both awe and nervousness filled her, causing Evalynn to just stand in the middle of the small road and take in the business happening in front of her.

"Look out miss, get out of the way!"

A busy sounding voice came from behind and caused a distracted Evalynn to scramble out of the way and off to the side. The male on the small wagon gave a disapproving look as he wheeled by, but continued on his way, nonetheless. Now snapped out of her daze of awe, the young woman made her way down the street in search for any hint of someone needing work. Then again, where would she start? Walking straight into any old shop could result in some unwanted attention but asking people on the street would also do the same. She didn't know if this city had a help wanted board, but something so convenient couldn't exist here.
