Rayque stuck to the edge of the hallway. Syliras was like nothing she had ever seen before. It was so beautiful, but she felt cramped, suffocated. Ray felt people brushing by her on either side, and she flinched. She had done everything possible to remain unnoticed, but here it seemed impossible. She quickly ducked into a side hallway and sighed, relieved to find that it was less populated. She noticed a girl ahead of her and pulled her hood farther down over her face. Her heart pounded in her chest as she slipped around the girl, continuing to look around. Ray made sure her bag was closed as she continued down the hallway.
Rayque kept moving through the crowded hallways and didnt stop moving until she found a quiet, deserted corner. Putting her bag down, she pulled off her hood and ran a hand through her tangled hair. Ray's frowned as she heard her stomach growl. She laid her head down on her knees and sighed. Getting food had been getting harder and harder. Recently, people had been guarding their bags and pockets better and even though Rayque was one of the best pickpocketers, she still wasnt stealing as much as she used to.
