Winter Lights Festival (Come One, Come All)

Adi followed the crowd as they raced down the halls, all the pushing and shoving was a bother, but Adi's excitement lingered throughout her every limb. This being her first year to have ever participated in an event such as the ' Winter Light Festival ', her emotions were engulfed by excitement and curiosity. The sounds of joy, and excitement roared through the halls.

She had chosen to wear her best clothing for such a festival. A Vinati that cut just above her naval, exposing the blue jewel that dangle freely from her upper naval. A pair of Bryda pants ran up her legs and hugged her hips, while the legs of the Bryda's resembled a skirt. Her crimson red hair cascaded down her back in curls and twist, while small braids were intertwined in her lucious locks of red.

She chewed on her bottom lip nervously as her darkened amber orbs scanned the festival. She felt like the new kid in school, all she hoped for today was to meet a few people, just to know them, and to possibly make a few friends. Considering her lack of knowledge for such acasion, she wasn't going to make herself known to the entire people throughout the festival.

A soft sigh escaped her as she made her way through the crowds, only to find a seat far away from the most populated area. " This is going to be fun...I hope." she whispered softly to herself as she watched at all of the ones whom gathered.

Adi wasn't one to stay hidden, in most situations she'd always make herself known. Though, in her mind, this was different, she didn't know a single being within the gathering. She looked around aimlessly as she continued to bite her lower lip.

She listened to the announcements and gave a few simple nods every now and again. She took her right hand and tucked her crimson red hair behind her ear, as if tieing the red curtain away from her eyes. The gathering was huge, it grew by the minute as more crowds rushed through the halls.

The girl making her way through the crowd caught Ronin's attention for some reason. She seemed lost as she meandered around aimlessly, and Ronin was definitely not one to pass up helping a beautiful young woman. He made his way through the crowd toward. He didn't recognizer her as someone he had seen before, but with nearly two thousand people in Wind Reach no one could remember all the faces.

When he finally reached her she was facing away from him. Ronin gently touched her shoulder to alert her to his presence.

"Hello, I'm Ronin, and you are?"

His voice was slightly raised make it distinguishable from the the noise of the hustle and bustle around them. If she turned around she would be greeted by his smiling face and bright blue eyes. Ronin acted on his inkling that she was overwhelmed by the whole thing.

"You lost?"

Adi turned around and looked at the male whom had tapped her shoulder with bright amber orbs. A small smile curled her lips as she noticed his bright smile. A friendly figure she thought.
" Allo, I'm Adi Foux Collette, though, most call me Adi or Foux."

Her words were like a purr, a flicker of the tongue. Her warm friendly smile did not fade as she looked the male over. She offer her right hand out to him, in hopes of receiving a hand shake or something of the sorts. His words echoed in her mind, a soft sigh escaped her as she began to speak.

" It depends on what you mean by lost, yes I am entirely new to this place and don't have a single clue on what actions I should take in such a situation."

Adi giggled softly, she was rather happy that someone had approached her, she'd felt rather lonely sitting by herself.

[Ronin]

Ronin chuckled softly in at her response to being lost. He pushed back his medium length, scarlet red, hair before reaching out for her hand. Instead, of shaking it he raised it slowly to his lips and kissed it. It was not a seductive kiss, although a little flirty, it was simply a polite greeting.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Adi Foux Collette."

He spoke softer now and his warm breath caressed the back of her hand. Ronin lowered her hand back down from his mouth, but did not let go.

"If you will follow me, we can go someone a little less noisy, so we can talk."

He said as he went to lead her by the hand through the crowd of people toward one of the walls. The crowd was thinner there and they might be able to hold a conversation at regular speaking volume there.

A soft blush flooded over her pale complexion has his lips met her hand, she smiled softly before nodding slightly. She followed him through the noisy crowd with a soft smile. Darkened amber hues scanned the area curiously as they walked.

" So, Ronin, it's a pleasure to meet you."

Adi's nerves began to let go of the tight grip they had on her, she became for relaxed and enjoyed the sounds and company of Ronin. He was very polite, and indeed a rather handsome young man. She was very curious of him, and rather intrigued.

" So, is this event a yearly thing?"

She asked curiously, wanting to know more about the ' Winter Light Festival ' having this be her first time to participate in such event. As they reached the wall she looked around at the people whom gathered and gave a simple nod. She let go of his hand and leaned against the wall gently.

[Ronin]

Ronin also leaned against the wall. He couldn't believe that an Inarta could not even know about the Winter Lights Festival. This confusion was reflected by the puzzled look on his face.

"You've never been to the festival? It is most certainly an annual thing."

He smiled at the thought of this being the first festival for her. He remembered the child-like wonder he got at the grandeur of it all, he could hardly imagine it had been his first.

"There is much you can do here, events to compete in, music to listen to, entertainers to watch. If you have any particular entertainment skills, this is the place to use them, you may even get rewarded for your efforts. I can't believe this is your first time!"

Ronin realized that in his excitement he had been rambling, and he spoke again in a much calmer tone.

"I am sorry, forgive my rambling. Is there anything in particular you would like to see? I am waiting to see how I did in the glasswork competition."

Adi sighed as she began to feel unease. This was her first time attending the festival. She had a job to up hold and never really did anything else, besides work. She looked down slightly and sighed once more.

" Sadly, yes this is my first time."

She admitted to him, with a look of discomfort. She was an Inarta, and this being her first time made her feel like the odd one out. She wasn't one for social gatherings and such, though she did enjoy them every now and again.

" I had always wanted to go, but then I'd always change my mind. I'm rather shy about my work."

She glanced up at Ronin for a moment before looking back down, and then around. She felt a tad bit embarrassed, which showed clearly on her pale features. She sighed softly and bit her bottom lip gently before looking up at him.

" I'm not one to show and tell, not unless I'm absolutely certain I am proud of my work."

[Ronin]

Ronin sensed her tentativeness about the subject and tried quickly to brighten the conversation up. He was never one to dwell on the sad or the awkward subjects. He racked his brain for something clever and witty to say, but came up with nothing. Instead, he resorted to trying to make small talk.

"What kind of work do you do?"

He smiled in a comforting manner, trying to get her back to the relaxed state she had been just a moment before. He felt as though his earlier attempts to be charming were starting to wear off and he was making her uncomfortable.

"Perhaps you should chose the topics of conversation from now on."

He laughed lightly and pushed back his hair again. It was something he often did when he was nervous.

Adi giggled softly and thought for a moment, she could sense he had become nervous, and that was the the last thing she wanted. She gave a simple shrug and sighed softly before she spoke.

Glasswork, though, I most enjoy working with the birds. I love them."

A small smile curved her lips, she pushed her crimson red bangs back behind her ear and fiddled with her earring for a second before bringing her hand back down to her side. She listened to the sounds of joy and laughter for a moment, and hummed softly to the sound of the music that had begun to play.

" What is it that you do, other than glasswork, if you do anything else."

She wasn't one to make good conversation, with her it was mostly awkward silences, and subtle nods. Though, every now and again she'd come up with a good topic and carry out an intelligent conversation. She brought her hand up to her naval for a moment to fiddle with the blue stone that pierced her naval as she leaned against the wall.

Sira: 8 points. Five for confidence befitting the Winter Warrior and three for childlike wonder. Yarrin: 10 points. Ten for registering for two events. Ronin: 14 points. Three for being a pansy and waiting to get your butt kicked, three for you left testicle, four for your right, two for competing injured, and two for all the laughing that everyone did, first when you got kicked, and then for talking like a dandy. Manners, pfffft. Twik: 17 points. Enticing people to come to you, six for Kovac cause he's exotic and sexy, four for Sira because she's a bird and birds don't have anal sphincters, four for Feyra because she needed some encouraging. Three for smooth talking. Amon: 9 points. Eight for providing the first opportunity at the festival for ice to be used for medicinal purposes, and one for defending your vigor. Chemar: 9 points. Five for trying to save the babies, four for needing a man to guide the registration. Feyra: 5 points. Three for stalking the card girl like a creeper, and two for getting sucked in. Adi: 3 points. One for being a stick in the mud Inarta that apparently never parties, one for engaging Ronin, one for making him talk like a dandy.
