Cara Frostfawn Basic Information: Race: Human, Vantha Birthday & Age : 486 AV, 26 Gender: Female Height: 5'9 Weight: 135 lbs Physical Description: Cara has straight, black hair, that ends just below her shoulders. Several dark purple streaks can be found lingering on the left side, starting just below her ears. Her hair is more often than not, left down, fluttering wildly in the wind, framing her ovular face, and high cheek bones. Cara's eyes are relatively large, and almond-shaped. They tend to change color depending on her mood, although they are usually a ruby red, or sapphire blue. Her skin is a soft golden-brown. Cara's facial features are small, her lips, a pale pink seem to fade into her face, like the rest of her features. Her neck is long and slender, and has a snowflake imprinted on the back, her mark from Morwen. Her body is slender as well. Her legs are rather long, and pretty well toned. Her arms are long and slender, as are each of her fingers. Despite her personality, she comes off as delicate, and easily broken. Character Concept: Cara is a rather cold-hearted person. Her body has been broken too many times, and her kindness was beaten out along with it. She trusts no one, and thinks little of other's feelings. The only person in the world who matters to her is herself, and she will do just about anything to keep herself alive. Oddly enough, she is more willing to be around animals than other people. In her own, strange sort of way, she cherishes animals and their beauty, while she spends a large deal of her time resenting her childhood, and hating all those she grew up with. Cara is known to spend great deals of time by herself, simply lost in thought, or practicing her magic. She talks as little as possible, and to as few people as possible, never once having regained her desire for companionship. She has no true friends, all those she had met in life having been lost at some point or another. Oftentimes, she will pray to Nysel to free her from her nightmare, and to Morwen, as do most of the Vantha. Although, she isn't sure why she prays to the ice queen, for she never seemed to help her any. Cara longs for nothing more than to leave Avanthal, or for either her or her parents to die. Her heart is overwhelmed by a need for revenge, although she fears the day that she confronts her parents. She wants them gone, but at the same time, she fears failure, and destroying the life of those that made her. For although she hates them, they are still her parents. Character History: Cara has a dark and twisted past that she never bothers to talk about. She was born into the Frostfawn hold to a man named Korth, and a woman by the name of Kalarih. The first few years of Cara's life were smooth sailing. Everything was positively perfect. But when her younger sister, Lindsey, was born, everything changed. As soon as Cara had turned five years old, she began to notice. Her parents never seemed to look at her the same way. They always spent more time with Lindsey, and less time with her. The time they did spend with her was often spent arguing, or in silence. There seemed to be no more smiles. Soon enough, all young Cara knew was the pain of one's hand striking her across the face. The pain inflicted by watching your own parents hurt you, and your not knowing why. What was there for her to fix to make it all stop? What was it that made her parents scream? Pull her hair and throw her into walls? Why did they suddenly hate her so? Whatever had young Cara done to deserve it all? Thus, most of Cara's childhood was spent huddled in a corner of the hold, crying and rocking herself back and forth. Always wondering what she had done, and if they would end it all. Eventually, her wanting them to end it all just to make sure the pain would go away. When Cara turned 16, she was supposed to marry. But no one wanted the quiet, bruised girl with the shattered soul and broken beauty. Thus, she never married, and by the time she had turned 20, became an ice maiden. Soon thereafter, just after she had turned 21, Cara travelled to Lhavit simply to get away from it all; the pain of her past. She spent two years there, learning the ways of the city, and biding her time before she returned to her homeland, in the hopes of obtaining her revenge. She has remained in the city ever since, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Stats: Gender: Female Age: 2 years old Eye Color: dark golden brown Size- Head to Tail: 30.5 inches Length of Tail: 12 inches Height at Shoulder: 10 inches Weight: 6.5 pounds Fur: long and snowy white Personality: The two took a while to get to know each other, but as soon as they had, they got along well enough. Iaera is a rather playful creature, and can often be found making a mess, especially when she decides to trail her bloodied meals into the Hold. This can be frustrating for Cara, and is the one thing that Cara can't seem to get her friend to stop doing. Little Rascal : Little Rascal Little Rascal, sometimes simply known as "Rascal," is the red panda Cara captured while she was in Lhavit. Stats: Gender: Male Age: 5.5 years old Eye Color: black Size- Head to Tail: 23.5 inches Length of Tail: 15 inches Height at Shoulder: 11 inches Weight: 11 pounds Fur: predominately reddish brown Personality: For quite some time, Cara and Little Rascal failed to get along. This may have something to do with how Cara acquired the creature, or it may not. Either way, Rascal had a nasty tendency to take Cara's things, and hide them, and eat her food. From time to time, he still does, although he has calmed down some over the years. For the most part, he and Iaera get along, although they do fight from time to time, which greatly annoys Cara. As far as the rest of his personality goes, Little Rascal tends to be quiet, and often displays a personality which makes one think that he feels entitled to quite the number of things.
