Hot and sweaty in Taldera (Rhu and Younger)

28th of Spring, Year 511

"Hey pick up your lazy arses!" Darren yelled as he headed the training company. The day started off bright and early as he put up some fliers to offer a boot camp of sorts in exchange for a favor. He didn't have favor in mind for each of his trainees since he really did planned the event for a change of pace. "Come on! Come on! How do you expect to get any stronger if you drag your feet like that?!?" he yelled as he looked back at his posse. The group was composed of mostly Fight Crew members that enthusiastically followed having been used to the practice, however there were a number of faces that he didn't recognize. The odd ones being a random weakling from the Snowsong, Frostfawn, and Skyglow hold that was trying to prove him/herself. He looked to see another person that didn't look to be a Vantha at all and one with white hair of all things.

Ugh alright that's weird he thought as he took in the two. Whatever, they'll probably just hang in the back all day. They were making rounds around Avanthal going through the snow, making slow progress. "Pick up your feet I said! If you don't want to waste energy. It's like running on sand for you outsiders" he said shooting a glance at Rhu. He strode up next to him demonstrating the procedure, making it a point to push off with the tip of his toe as he ran in long strides. "Alright crew, let's take a break for the others." he shouted as he ran back to the front. He reassured the weaker looking people of the group, he found himself at the very least respecting them for trying to change.

They found themselves stopped atop a short hill overlooking Avanthal, just a bit more and they would be able to reach the wilderness. He took a look at the usual training partners as they nodded signaling that most of the people were fine. "Okay, today we'll be going on a hike up to the old abandoned quarry today. Do some lifting, do some spars and end with the day with a bond fire if you guys can handle it. Hopefully with this session you'll be able to learn how to workout by yourself and learn the basics of the martial arts from watching. On another note, some of us were nice enough to go ahead and set up camp early in the morning for us and wait for us at the Quarry. Be sure to stick with the group, not many people know their way in these wilds so if you get lost. STAY STILL. We'll retrace our steps and find you." he ended with a solemn look at the group. He never had someone get lost or injured yet and he wasn't going to start now.

"And most importantly let's have fun. There's no point in doing all of this with a sour perspective. As usual I'm offering the one who stood out the most out of the new guys the chance to learn a new art. While the rest of the people will be at the bond fire we'll spent the time somewhere else. Once alone I'll be able to see if your able to learn the art. Just know however, this rite is not to be taken lightly. This knowledge can help you become the strongest there ever was, but it can cripple you for life if your not careful. Once you learn this art there is no turning back. A bond made with me and every other practitioner will be made and it is expected you uphold it." He took a deep breath as he finished. He was used to large crowds and speeches but they were still a bother nonetheless.
