Hatot gave a nod, remaining silent as Kavala spoke to him. She looked tired, like she had needed the rest, but in the end, she went back to doing chores. Hatot took a deep breath, not knowing what else to say, but at that point there wasn’t much else to be said that wouldn’t be more apology or going over the same words already said. Recycled talk in the end.
With the words said, and feelings expressed, Hatot simply hung his head a little, releasing that deep breath slowly. He soon turned around and made his way towards Sanctuary’s front door, exiting out of the building proper. A lot of damage had been done. Only time would tell if it could all be salvaged.
