"At least tell me your name, and then I will leave you in peace," the Akalak offered, doing his best to be smooth and suave.
Nisana almost sighed again, but gave a small pause as she remembered the cat from earlier. Perhaps something similar could prove for a better, less stressful result here. Forcing a smile on her lips she offered, "My name is Nisana Curare."
The Akalak paused, clearly surprised by her sudden change of heart, but quickly regained his smile, "Well then, Nisana Curare, I look forward to our next meeting," and with that the brute turned and left, true to his word.
Nisana gave a soft sigh of relief, but it caught halfway out as she noticed the cat on nearby crates watching her. It looked like the same she had seen before, but it could just be a coincidence. Narrowing her eyes at it for a few moments she turned and walked down the street once more. It would be good to get some food into her, and so she started making her way to the Kulkukan Tavern.
