Why did you change into a human? Ianira growled at Mihai. We are weaker that way. Humans cannot fight like we can, even with their puny weapons, she snarled, eyeing Tira warily. Weapons we can so easily break in two. There was a slight pause as Ianira's gaze passed from Tira to Mihai, and then back again. He doesn't mean to have us destroy the apes with the Myrian's help? Ianira wondered as she simply stared at the two of them. They're not wondering if they have stumbled upon another Kelvic, have they? Well... maybe the boy knows now, from how we spoke before. But... there is no need to shift, is there? the tigress continued to wonder as she waited for either of her companions to make a move.

OOCI apologize in advance for all of my lousy posts.

Mihai's answering smile to the Myrian woman was full of wry good humor. At least now he wouldn't have to explain to Myri why he had killed one of her children, and a favored female in particular. Unabashed by his nudity, he quickly crouched down and turned back into his feline form so the light would be blocked by the undergrowth and there would be no rustling sound from his paws touching ground.

Catching Ianira's gaze, he explained, It will be easier this way. No hunters on our trail. When I get back into position, we can fall upon the apes. Whichever flee in her direction will face the fury of her toothed sword

That said, he stalked back around the oblivious apes to take up his old position, careful to stay downwind and not break cover. He even faded from the view of his hunting companions until he popped up where they had seen him laying in wait previously.

The white tiger's growls were getting irritating. It was like a constant buzzing in the back of her head, and Tira felt like running over to her and shaking her like a doll - even if she would probably get eaten for doing such. Was she an idiot? She began to think that she too was a Kelvic. A normal tiger would not be so stupid as to growl incessantly until the whole flock of monkeys became aware of her presence, and scattered away from them. The tiger was going to blow the whole operation. Tira had to bite her bottom lip in irritation to prevent from yelling at the big stupid kitty.

Rolling her eyes, she turned to the other Kelvic, still in his full nude human form. If he had been anyone else, and they had been in any other situation, she would have been checking him out and making some unsubtle comment in regards to the lack of clothes. As it was, he seemed a bit ... young for her. She preferred her men to have some hair on their back - well, not really, but it was a figure of speech. She kept her eyes firmly focused up top. She didn't need to feel like a cradle snatcher, even with the Kelvic's shortened life span.

She smiled back at him, this one a little mischevious, and nodded to him as he changed into his form. Her eyes followed the golden glow through the undergrowth, though for a while he managed to disappear. She waited until she saw him return to where he was. Glancing between the other Kelvic and him, she waited for them to make a move, impatiently. And waited. And waited.

With a deep breath, she muttered "Myri guide this blade," before rushing into the clearing, with her blade held high. Her eyes focused on the closest one - a little cute monkey - and ran straight for it, the sun glinting off the obsidian teeth. Of course, the success of this hinged on the hope the two tigers followed immediately. She hoped they would. If not ... she would find something else to kill. Perhaps that white tiger.

As soon as Tira ran into the clearing, Ianira darted after her, doing her best to keep relatively close to the Myrian's right side, but not so close as to get in her way. When Tira went after her first monkey, a pathetically small one as far as the tigress was concerned, Ianira doubled around her back, making a move for the left side of the Myrian's body. Ianira's tail swished back and forth as an angry, howling ape who had been pounding his chest lunged at her. The tigress took a half step back as she parted her lips, exposing all her long, white teeth, glistening with saliva. So this foolish ape wishes to prove himself? the tigress wondered as she unsheathed her claws, and lifted her right front paw, swiping at the ape's chest. The foolish creature, perhaps thinking it could actually hurt her, had run closer to her and lifted its own hand to strike. Ianira felt a slight tap on her shoulder as her claws raked against the creature's belly, ripping its skin apart, and releasing a crimson red blood. The tigress seemed to smile as her paw fell back to the ground. She had always loved the scent of blood, for it meant that a fresh meal was soon to come. And now, all she seemed to be thinking of was FOOD! FOOD! FOOD!

OOC*facedesks* worst posts ever....

And if it's confusing, I just walked around Tira, like behind her back to get at the apes on the other side of her.

As soon as the Myrian broke cover, Mihai let out his most ferocious roar. It was enough to scare the apes, throwing them into confusion and chaos, but he couldn't wait for the day that he was mature enough that his roar might frighten even hardbitten warriors. All the same, he landed atop a male ape, hearing and feelings bones crunch beneath his weight even as his jaws sank into the neck. This coupled with his mass bearing the creature into the ground killed it, and Mihai rolled out of the pounce swiping at whichever unfortunate creatures came within his grasp. They were surrounded by tigers and black-toothed swaths of death.

A rollicking good time, he thought, leaping at another ape that stumbled, scrabbling for purchase and escape. He let out another roar, this one almost amused by the carnage.

The adolescent boy Kevlic darted in to the fray, along with the white tiger and Tira, with a loud roar, which caused Tira to laugh in glee. She could feel the white tiger running behind her, and with a snarl it leapt for an angry ape, yelling and snarling as its home and its kind were attacked. She heard the snap of bones as the Kelvic landed on top of an ape, crushing it and killing it instantly, the weight of the adolescent tiger crushing it immediately. She laughed again, thinking of how quickly one of Myri's tigers could destroy this colony if this was what two meagre specimens could do. The two tigers seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Tira would not admit it, but she had her work cut out for her. It was not that the monkeys put up a hell of a fight, but it was just the way in which they scrabbled and shrieked and attempted to flee that provided a challenge for her. The one that she originally targeted, a baby monkey by the looks of it, shrieked as soon as she began to charge, and turned it's tale to flee. With a yell, Tira jumped forward and grabbed it's tail with her left hand, pulling it back, the monkey swinging by the tail in mid air now. With her right, which still held the macuahuitl, she swung the weapon down. The wood part of the club bashed the monkey directly on the skull with a sizeable crack!, the obsidian blades sinking into either side, literally slicing off the top of the monkey's skull. Blood and brains spilled from the now limp monkey carcass in her hands, pouring onto the ground before her. With a gleeful shout of joy, she dropped the carcass and sprung for another.

oocAlright, so you guys can decide how long you want this to go on and what happens next. Surprises are good!

The ape howled in pain, before swinging its arms at Ianira again, in what seemed to be a sad excuse for a punch. The tigress easily stepped back, avoiding the creature's advances. As it continued to swing at her, Ianira simply walked out of the way, before parting her lips enough where her elongated feline teeth could be seen. She let out a low, guttural growl from the back of her throat, as she tensed each of her muscles, allowing her legs to bend at the knee as she sank closer and closer down to the ground. A few seconds later, she leapt forward at the ape, landing on top of its chest. The creature howled once her claws sank into its flesh, bringing up small trickles of blood beneath them. The creature's eyes grew wide as she dipped her head a little closer, and opened her mouth a little wider, her tongue crinkled beneath her teeth, saliva dripping off the end. Finally, Ianira's teeth sank into the creature's neck, squeezing the very life out of it. She could feel the creature's breath leave it, she could feel warm blood on her tongue, and on her teeth. It's dead, she told herself, as she pulled upwards, dragging a large portion of meat, and fur matted with fresh blood along with it. She didn't have time to enjoy her kill however, as two, large, angry apes came hurdling into her, knocking her off her kill. She fell to the left, rolling along the ground, the two apes seemingly on top of her the entire time. Roar.

A few of the larger, more aggressive males ganged up on Mihai, a few of their attempts to pummel him landing, but not without the repercussions of a snap of teeth or swipe of paw. In a stroke of luck, two of the apes stumbled into each other in a botched attack and Mihai was able to sink his teeth into the neck and shoulder of one, swinging it around like a dog with a toy, its flailing, screaming body slamming into the other apes, knocking them back.

The Myrian was laughing, the tigress roaring, and they had themselves an unexpected melee. With a sharp twist of his neck, he sent the body of his ape victim flying into some of his brethren. Their nerve shaken, several began to back away with teeth bared, others screaming, some just fleeing outright. Now it was a matter of intimidation, reaching that critical mass that would send the little group of simians off to leave them to their meal.

oocNot quite sure where we're going with this, tbh...

Tira paused, looking around at the two animals, them enjoying the carnage just as much as the Myrian was. The blood bath was truly joyous, and it had been a while since Tira had killed purely for the sake of feeling the rush of adrenalin. Perhaps it was sadistic, but her grin only increased as she stepped with a crunch over the carcass of the baby monkey, the blood and brains mixed up in a puddle on the ground. The two tigers were fighting off simians of their own, the monkeys beginning to gang up. Tira whipped her head around at the last moment to see a full sized male monkey fly towards her, screaming and yelling as he did so.

With a yell, she swung her macuahuitl straight towards the monkey, flying through the air. The way she held it meant that it was knocked to the ground, but the obsidian teeth had not managed to slice open the monkey's stomach. It fell to the floor a couple of yards away, and with a growl, rolled over and glared with it's beady monkey eyes, before launching with a scream towards her again. She stepped back, but the monkey did something unexpected and launched up over her and landed on her head. She could feel the scrabble of claws over her face, as its paws raked over her forehead attempting to gouge out her eyes. With a yell, she felt the searing pain as it managed to rake a deep scratch over her eyelid and forehead, missing her eye by an inch.

Tira began to swirl around in circles, hoping to fly the monkey off her. She must have looked odd, macuahuitl in one hand and a monkey on her head, screeching as it tried to hold on. It finally flew off with a shriek, ripping out a chunk of her hair from a section just above her temple. Petching monkey gave her a bald patch! With a yell, she ran over to the monkey and swung her macuahuitl down, teeth sinking into its chest and stomach, and with a yell, it died. She rubbed her bald patch ruefully, before looking to the tigers. Petching ape.

Ianira and the two large apes kept rolling along the forest floor. She snarled at them as they swiped at her, and she held her paws up in defense, her claws extended towards them. From time to time, when they weren't standing directly upon her legs, she'd swipe at the apes angrily, raking across their fur, but never drawing enough blood to make them stop. They need to get the petch off, Ianira thought, as she kept swiping, and they kept pounding their fists into her, their blood dripping onto her muddy fur, simply making her appear all the more gruesome. The trio continued to roll along, fighting, although no party seemed to be gaining any ground, until they had passed through a series of low-lying flowering shrubs. They kept rolling away from the clearing until they were out of sight of the other monkeys in the clearing, the Myrian, and the Kelvic. But they never took their eyes off each other, so locked were they in their own battle.

OOCAgain, sorry for a blah post.

Also, this is me bowing out and starting the whole wrapping up process. So feel free to finish up if you two want. I will not be posting again though, so you can skip me if it comes around to my turn again.
