Basic Information Race: Human Birthday & Age : Born on the 13th Day of Summer in the year 474 AV, 35 Years old Gender: Male Physical Description Itasu's natural form is that of a middle-aged man. He has a brown beard and mustache combonation, along with near-black eyes. He almost always dons the same dark blue cloak, with the hood up so that it casts a shadow over his face. He is a short 5' tall, and weighs an equally small 102 pounds. When the hood comes down his face is rough and slightly wrinkled with age. His face masks dark secrets, which are better left secrets. In his natural form, Itasu never smiles. Besides hiding his face, the cloak serves another important task. It hides the many glyphs lining his body. Although, Itasu is a wizard, and one of the disciplines that he practices is Morphing. He is decently competent in the skill and therefore can change forms at will. The form that he changes into will depend on the situation. These forms changes can be simple, if just to remove the tattoos under his cloak so that he can wear normal clothing. Usually when Itasu changes, his facial expression changes too. This can mean accommodating a smile with that new face. Character Concept Itasu's personality changes with form. Some would call it crazy, but no one knows who he is at any given time. In his natural form Itasu is grim and mysterious, as are most wizards. He keeps to himself and hardly trusts anyone, especially not other magicians. He enjoys it when others cower before him, and takes it as an insult when they don't. Itasu, as I said before, has an ever-changing personality. It started out as just a way to satisfy his wish to live any life he could ever want. If he got bored with his position in the world, Itasu would simply discard that life, change his look and start again. Then, he began to change. It was simple at first, not noticeable. Then again, it can never be noticeable. Itasu will never let others know who he is when he changes, and therefore no one will ever notice his disorder. After years of morphing and changing he began to loose the concept of who he is. Now, when he changes he tries to forget who he is. It's as if his body wants nothing to influence how he acts in each and every life he takes on. Itasu is not completely insane yet, but he is definitely getting there. Give it another 15 years or so and he may have all but forgotten who he was originally. Character History Pre-Creation: Itasu's life started off relatively normal. His family was upper-middle class and he got most of what he wanted. His family even owned a Kelvic at one point, though 'owned' is a strong word. It was more of a 'mutual relationship.' They gave the Kelvic a home in exchange for free meat and a pet. That Kelvic was the start of what is current day Itasu. When they got the animal, Itasu was 14, and he was actually jealous of her. In his eyes the Kelvic, Agla, was the luckiest being on earth. She seemed to be totally free. Agla's animal form was an Eagle, and seeing her set off to fly was spectacular. Itasu wanted to be in her position, flying at will, doing whatever. So, he went to the library. From the time Itasu was 16, to when he was 20, he learned morphing on his own, with the help of a few books. The boy was funded by his family, for they didn't know he was dabbling into the black arts. They saw that he had a sudden interest in reading, and wanting their son to be successful, they complied to his demands and gave him the money for more books. Itasu would study the reading material from 2 to 5 hours a day, and then spend the rest of his free-time either meditating, examining animals, or practicing morphing in a mirror. His parents never caught on. By the time Itasu was 20 he finally attracted the attention of a real wizard. Walking through the streets of his hometown one day Itasu made a mistake. He was focusing intensely on his morphing studies, so hard in fact that without realizing it he changed, his ears turning wolfish. Even more unfortunately, a nearby wizard was watching from the shadows, as he usually did when looking for some 'fun.' The next day that wizard made contact, he asked Itasu if he would study magic with a real tutor. Becoming addicted to the Arcana by now he gladly accepted. Thinking too much of the future, and not of the present, he left his family without even a goodbye. For the next ten years of his life Itasu studied under the wing of a real wizard. In that time he continued to practice Morphing, and added Glyphing and Animation to the mix. It was an interesting life, but it fed Itasu's addiction to magic greatly. On the eve of his 31st birthday that wizard died. Of course, it wasn't exactly a coincidence it happened in time for Itasu to consider it a birthday present. He was getting fed up with his teacher. The man demanded too many menial tasks. At first it was simple, a guiding hand to improve his skill in magic, then in the last few years of the wizard's life, he began to do more than just that. The wizard would make Itasu do chores, run errands, and made it so he hardly had any time for magic. His very reason for living with this man was now non-existent. So, he arranged a birthday surprise for himself. And now, Samuel Marken is just another person in Itasu's repertoire of lives. After his master was dead Itasu continued to practice magic. He took his teacher's home, and with that, his books. He tattooed his entire body with glyphs, and 4 years later we arrive at the present day. Like him, Sagallius once was a magician, yet the pre-Valterrian magnificently ascended to godhood. Itasu likes that. Itasu also enjoys manipulating others, indirectly if it is at times. He may take a form of someone still living, and change their life overnight. Else he is setting a simple animation loose, tripping up a passer-by. It sometimes gets boring being whoever you want to be, and seeing someone else change is interesting.
