2nd Day of Summer 511 AV

After an interesting day of doing absolutely nothing, Riley desires to venture off to find a nice tree to relax under. The sun was high, not a cloud in sight, wind slowly crept across Riley's face, and the trees were calling out to her. Her left hand raises to block out as much sunlight as possible, reflecting from the snow, the sun is everywhere. Riley pulls over the hood to her coat and pulls the neck of her shirt as high up as she could to see if she could block out most of the sunlight and hide from the day.

Finally reached her beloved tree of rest, she pulled the bone scythe from her back and propped it up against the tree to hold a couple of branches out of her face. Riley then fell to her side and placed her head on her hands and tried to begin sleeping. the sound of the wind whispered across the sky, the feeling of snow melting beneath her was comforting, and the calls of few and small animals echoing in the distance. Boring to her in its own way, but boring things are the only way she manages to get any sleep around Avanthal.

Lazy Bones (Open)

Riley dropped her make-shift scythe into the snow under a tree and pulled the hood of her coat over her face before dropping into the snow herself. Riley began to relax her body, forgetting about the food she was suppose to be cooking. Not a care in the world, Riley closed her eyes, and the sunlight began to fade from her memory. Dreams started to flow through her mind, but none would ever be remembered. Several hours passed and the sun began to kiss the horizon of trees. Riley's eyes began to flutter and her mind slowly crawled back to reality and the lack of light was a blessing. Riley took a moment to stretch before laying her arm across her eyes to block out the remaining light and almost falling back asleep.
