They way the twins spoke in turns reminded Citrine of her own sisters and it added an instant feeling of ease to the deck of the Tidemill. A glance at the water when Talgir broke the surface only served to heighten that feeling, it was true; the wakes of both pods, Maelstrom and Moontide did seem destined to meet. "Lier, Lian, this is Talgir." She looked into the water and grinned. "He follows us around the sea, watching our backs, and on a good day he comes to visit. You should get to know him." She looked back to the twins and nodded in agreement of Lier's words, they wouldn't want to sink her Casinor so soon after meeting.

We could move to the beach.

With a flash of a smile to those on the boat, she flipped over the side to join those in the sea. Her body met the water a sealion's length away from Talgir and disappeared for a few moments only to emerge right next to him. With no warning, she wrapped her arms around his neck for a friendly embrace. "Who needs patience with someone like you?" She pulled back, arms still curled around his neck. "Hello Talgir. What took you so long? " She grinned brightly, doing her best to ignore the fact he was naked and in her arms. Before her mind had time to really process the fact and paint her cheeks with a healthy blush she released him and back away just a little, treading water to keep her still. " Come to the beach with me." She planted a quick kiss on his cheek and dove beneath the water.

Cyrus was there beside her and the two of them threaded through the water together as though they were dancing, spinning together like a corkscrew until they both surfaced off the bow of the Tidemill. Come along Moonfish, before the food is burned." She liked that, Moonfish. Her hands slowed and she silently slipped out of sight, drifting down before she flipped in the water and pushed forward toward the beach, propelled only by the long graceful movement of her legs and the gentle grasp she had of Cyrus' tail; They moved like a billowing train along the bottom of the sea.

Maelstrom and Tavan did not surface again until the water had grown too shallow to swim, and after being sent off with a kiss on the tip of his nose, Cy disappeared and Citrine stood, closing the last bit of distance to the fire. She looked back over her shoulder as she gently twisted the water from her hair. "I will not hesitate to eat without you all.. " She laughed, watching each of them dive into the water. "I thought so.. what self respecting Svefra misses a feast." The last was just for her ears as she continued to dry herself off.

Image Topaz had to admit she was curious. Another set of twins? It was rare among the Svefra, and though she'd be used to being Moonstone's twin, she'd never really met another set especially one that was male and female. Moonstone was her sister and they shared everything, but she was also the outgoing boisterous one that was unafraid of everything. Topaz was the calm intellect that occasionally picked up a new book at port or didn't need an entire pod of boozing Svefra to consider a quiet walk along a beach a party. Citrine was far more outgoing as well, having spotted Talgir right away. The truth was, the Moontide scared her a little because he had an enormous shark Tavan that often made her and Crystal nervous. Predators were predators, even though Talgir didn't seem to have a mean bone in his body.

The new svefra, evidently a northern pod, were gentler people perhaps, if their Tavan was any indication. Topaz wished Moon were here, for she wasn't good in new social situations. She'd say hi, make herself at home, and visit with the new commers, but feeling comfortable around them wouldn't be easy... especially not at first. Moon was her buffer, the one that got her accepted and appreciated, not exactly because she was Topaz Maelstrom, but because she was 'moon's twin'. But she was curious about the twins.

"She'll be around eventually. I'm not sure where she's gotten herself off too. She's probably chasing down our brother Onyx and keeping him out of trouble."
Topaz said softly, looking uncertain for a moment.

She smiled apologetically, even though she wasn't sure why at both the twins then witnessed her charming sister turn all her feminine wiles on Talgir, greeting the new commer that Topaz had only thus far in her entire life nodded at even though they'd had plenty of time to be acquainted over hte seasons the Moontides and Maelstroms had traveled together. "Moving to the shore is an option. I'll ride in with you if your going to beach. The Sunseeker is anchored well and I'll swim back out and get it if we need music later. I've a mandolin on board." She said softly, once more glancing at the hosts.

She cast around, thinking of something to say and abruptly erupted with... '"Was your trip down the gut from the Northern Suvan to our Southern Waters okay? Many people have trouble this time of year." She felt stupid after she asked, as if she'd almost expected them to have trouble, which was insulting to their sailing ability.

Topaz gazed after Citrine, wondering how it was her sister so easily made friends.
