[Temple of the All Gods] You Must Learn Control

Summer, 66th day, 511 AVThis is just some character development for Xalet as he attempts to pray to the God of his hometown and for me as I'll be looking into gaining Wysar's Gnosis. It doesn't have to be modded at all, I'll just have Xalet come here from time to time when he wishes to pray to Wysar. If a mod wants to make a cameo though, that's just fine.

Xalet made sure to come outside of service when he entered the temple. Once inside he felt some discomfort, as the temple itself was not an establishment he frequented. Recently he had been having his doubts regarding his own willpower, and the ability to keep the dark half away completely. His life was one lived upon eggshells, clumsily dancing back and forth in order to keep from rupturing the thin membrane that kept the darkness at bay. He was exhausted.

Slowly he sat down amongst the pews, the wood creaking slightly under his weight. His elbows sat upon his knees and he hunched forward slightly. The lady Priskil had shown him there was a bright light to illuminate his path, the decision to become a Knight. From that light there were shadows of doubt. Doubt whether or not he could contain the fury of the darkness, or if one day it would escape and destroy everything he worked so hard for.

To that end he decided to learn more about the God of Discipline and Conviction, as well as the named Lord of his place of birth, Wysar. Perhaps in Wysar he could find the balance. The balance, as Xalet knew it, was total inner peace. An acceptance of ones self and subsequently the merging of the body, mind, and soul. To one who practiced the martial arts, such as swordsmanship or unarmed combat it could be quite useful, but for Xalet it was hopefully the key to mastering the darkness completely.
