Cora is an extroverted person. She speaks a lot and her mouth is often quicker than her brain and that can cause her unpleasant problems. She always says what she thinks to others. When she doesn’t like something or somebody, she usually says so and people can think that she is bossy, conceived and overly self-confident.

Arguing is also her domain. She doesn’t like when people disagree with her and she could spend hours arguing to prove, that she was right, even if she wasn’t. But sometimes, when she is in the mood, she can adapt to other people’s needs.

She is also very impatient. The process of her work isn’t important to her. All that matters is the result, which should be preferably good. That’s why she doesn’t like the process of learning. She finds it boring. Not that she doesn’t like to learn new things at all, but she would rather skip the theory and get to work straight away. To get her to sit quietly with a book is nearly impossible.

She acts quite the oposite, when helping ill or injured people. She is caring and nice in these situations. She was taught that she should treat the patients with utmost care and patience.

Living in a family practicing medicine in Zeltiva, she was introduced to this field in an early age. It fascinated her from the start and soon her father allowed her to help him, when he tended to his patients and so she did what she liked and she learned at the same time.

Her father wanted her to take over his profession after he would not be able to practice it, but her mother, who was a master herbalist, often protested agaist that idea, because she said that it was not a good profession for a woman. However, her father was unrelenting and taught Cora all he knew.

But then came her adolescent years and suddenly, Cora's interest in learning medicine was gone. She started to neglect her education and she was often going out to wander around the city. She met a group of kids her age, with whom she roamed the streets of Zeltiva and got into trouble often. Most Zeltiva inhabitants see her as a troublemaker even now when she is an adult, but she doesn’t care what people think.

When she was 17, she was gravely injured, when she and her friends were escaping from an enraged dog, which they provoked. Her friends ran away and let her alone with the angry dog, which bit her. Her parents then decided, that they had enough and kept her at home to help them.

As Cora's father was growing old, he started to lose his sight and he had to rely on his daughter more and more. After several years he lost his sight completely and Cora had to rely only on her knowledge. Soon she realized that she couldn't do this without more education so she decided to recieve it on the University of Zeltiva.
