Cleaning and Encounters (The Golden Dragon) (Drask)

Like Humans..? Asara's eyes narrowed an infinitesmal bit, before she smiled and chuckled lightly. He sneezed so hard it looked like it dazed him. It was amusing, in a cute kind of way. At his next words she tilted her head and frowned. "Like... Is it Morphing? You can Morph forms? I'd like to see that.... Is it... Strange to watch?"

Asara put down her cleaning utensil to look at Drask. His eyes were much more feral than any of the human eyes she'd seen. She didn't think humans had eyes that were amber or anything like that. Of course, she didn't know any to ask. She'd spoken to non-humans the most here in Syliras.

At his comment for his step-father, whatever that meant, having a Symenestra woman to go to, Asara unexpectedly thought of Seven. Could his parents be the farmer and the Symenestra in question? She'd never asked, and since she hadn't yet found him, she doubted she ever could ask.

"A whore? Female Symenestra are hardly whores. It's the males that sleep around." Her gold eyes flashed darkly, a small smile curling her pale lips again. She didn't know how to describe her race in a good light. Every human she'd met seemed to focus only on the bad aspects, leaving her in self-loathing of herself.

Cleaning and Encounters (The Golden Dragon) (Drask)

The smile on her face brought one upon Drask's as well. She was rather friendly now, and he couldn't help but notice it was when he had confirmed that he himself was also non-human. Perhaps she had something against them? Alas, it was not his place to question such things, and he was not one to pry into such things either.

"I am sure that not all of your people are like my master's... 'mistress'. Obviously I know that from speaking with you." he spoke warmly to her, feeling the barrier between them dissolving. He understood that someone working at the Golden Dragon could easily be seen as a sex-driven individual, but he also knew that people are willing to do anything to survive. Asara did not strike Drask as someone who would be motivated by the idea of having sex with many men, but rather someone who was trying to climb the ladder of success. Even if that meant starting at the very bottom.

Morphing was, essentially, a pretty short explanation of his ability. However it depended on his own physical strength, rather than a magical source. I think it will be better if I am to show you" he said as he slid off the bed. He slipped out of his jacket and threw it on the bed, spreading his legs to sturdy himself. A deep breathe filled his lungs, and he clapped his hands together. As he did this a black, glowing orb expanded rapidly from his hands and engulfed his body completely. It seemed to jiggle and pulsate violently before being pierced by dozens of white lights that shot out from inside of the sphere. Soon the lights were so intense that it was nearly impossible to see. When it was over, all that remained was a wolf, and the clothes he was wearing prior that were now lying in the floor. All of this happened within the course of 3 seconds

Drask's wolven form was fluffy. REALLY fluffy. Like a giant cotton ball fluffy. Thankfully he had done all of his shedding in the springtime, so he wouldn't end up coating the entire room in white fur. His bright, yellow eyes shone like two fires in the middle of a snowstorm. "See? I am not as you perceived me to be" Drask had forgotten that he could only speak Kelvic in this form, so all that came out were two barks. His eyes looked up at the young woman and his tail began to wag.

Asara smiled at the assurance and tilted her head, gold eyes glowing as she watched him remove his jacket and prepare. He made her think of someone practicing something strenuous. Was what he was going to do a strain on his body? She hoped not. If he got hurt while she was cleaning, her head would be on a spit over one of the hearths downstairs.

Her eyes closed during his transformation. It already bugged them enough to be open during the day, and this light was much sharper than Syna's. She hissed in displeasure, bringing a hand up to cover her eyes. Even when it was gone she had to wait a few moments for the spotting in her vision to fade and the colours to return. When they did, she bit back a gasp at the sight of the wolf standing before her.

The animal was a lovely one, snow white and quite furry. It had Drask's eyes, which was direct proof that he hadn't slipped out while her eyes were covered and brought in a tame wolf instead. It's bark startled her, and she had no idea if it was speaking to her, but she knelt warily anyway on eye level with him.

"This is a beautiful form," she said quietly, wanting to pet him but unsure if she should.

Cleaning and Encounters (The Golden Dragon) (Drask)

Drask's wolven eyes darted around the room, his easily distracted wolf-mind taking in the little details of the room. They studied the woman, too. Her eyes seemed to be shockingly similar to his own. However there was a type of wild, untamed look in his own irises as his wolf form had now taken over. However he was not as wild as many people would have guessed. He acted more like a house dog than anything. Well, perhaps a guard dog.

Drask nodded in response to her compliment. He licked at his lips, collecting the remnants of his earlier meal. He wondered how long ago that had been, and how noticeable it could have been.

The wolf walked close to the Symenstra, his pearl-white fur gleaming in the light that filtered through the window. He gently pressed his head against her hand, letting her fingers run through his thick fur, tempting her to explore it. He had always loved the feel of human hands on his animal skin. A long sigh escaped his maw. His eyes stared up at Asara, friendly and invinting.

Asara's eyes watched the wolf, fascination showing clearly. The only wolves she'd seen were from a distance and pelts. A live, breathing one just waiting to be stroked was a much greater source of information than one hung on a rack, left to age properly.

The wide pupils of her own eyes dilated further to catch any and all movements. Her eyes may not have been like Drask's, but they were as inhuman as any wolf's, showing emotions in a delicately structured face that belonged more in a painting than in real life.

His nodding looked completely odd. Animals didn't act like humans, and the nodding just assured her that Drask still lived, even if in the body of a wolf. The licking of his chops was a little ominous, at least to her.

As he came towards her, she stiffened just a bit before relaxing, sliding long, thin fingers into his fur along the back of his head, finding the white mass silken under her touch. He was velvety to her, and she enjoyed the feeling, continuing to stroke her fingers through his fur gently, not wanting to be rough in case he bit her.

Inwardly, she was glad he wasn't shedding. She would have had to clean the room again if that were the case, and it had taken so long already due to the fact that she was new at this job.

Cleaning and Encounters (The Golden Dragon) (Drask)

Drask made a strange purr-like noise from his maw when her fingers perted through his fur, a noise that sounded more human than animal. He could feel her nails scratch against his head, relieving an itch had not existed existed until that moment. He pressed himself close to her hand, forcing her fingers deeper.

Unfortunately, he pushed a little too hard and ended up tumbling to Asara's feet, his human clumsiness revealing itself in his wolven form. He squirmed below her and quickly rose back up to his feet. Embarrassed, he trotted back slightly, enough to give her some room to get up. He knew he was probably keeping her from her work.

After some time, he walked back over to the pile of clothes he had left during his transformation, and motioned to the wall behind Asara, trying to communicate his need for privacy. Despite his uncertainty regarding if she had granted it to him, he spun around to face the wall, closing his eyes to focus himself. It was more difficult getting into human form than it was getting into the wolf one. It required a great deal of mental and physical energy.

He spread his feet and barked, his Kelvic tongue speaking the magical word that triggered the transformation, his body repeating the process that had taken place several moments before. Having changed forms twice in such a small time-frame had drained him of most of his stamina. "There we go" he said after clothing himself. He turned back to face Asara and gave her a bright smile. "I would have like to stay as a wolf, but I know I'd just get in way. Thank you, though" he referred to the head scratching. It was generally thought of to be a a gesture of friendship amongst Kelvics, and Drask wondered if she knew this.
