[Pig Foot's Tavern] Seeing Crimson (Eryss)

41st Day of Summer, 511 AV

He really loved this tavern down to the floorboards and its’ barkeep, Merv. It was a fantastic place to wait outside in hiding and peel gold miza off of people to get a meal or a drink from inside. The teenager has done this fairly often, especially at night when the drinking becomes more prominent than the meals.

This evening was just the same; he had laid waiting in the warm summers’ night as the sun waned in the distance. He snatched a couple of money purses from different people on their way out of the tavern to find scraps, until he finally had enough to afford more than one drink, and then his real task for the evening could begin.

Transferring all his coinage to his own spots some in his boot, some in a variety of his pockets. It had been something Gabriel had taught him long ago, to not have all his eggs in one basket as it were, especially when it came to wandering around Sunberth.

Zach strutted in, glancing around his surroundings, getting the lay of the land so to speak, spotting several patrons scattered throughout the tavern. He was looking for a particular type of person tonight, a Crimson Edge member. Why? Because ever since he started hearing about them, the human teenager has wanted to be apart. It was not to fill the emptiness that his brother’s death left in its wake more so than he needed a way to get money consistently to have more than just scraps every day. The guild could help him with that, or at least he had hoped they would.

Zachariah curled his dark cloak around himself, hiding away the fact that he was wearing a vest that held many of his tools that helped him break into houses, stores, and people for various reasons. He did not want to draw too much attention to himself at the moment, as his eyes swept around slowly, only to realize after a moment that he had not the faintest idea of what a Crimson Edge member looked like.
